The Future Team Dark is here!
Team Dark during a moment of my AU - TheSonicFutureAU.
I finally managed to finish them. I confess that although Omega didn’t have many changes, I needed to draw him to complete the whole team, and here it is!
Here are some things about them in my AU:
After a great universal conflict against Dr. Eggman, Sonic and his friends joined forces with the Resistance to defeat the evil genius once and for all. With Sonic's victory, Eggman mysteriously disappeared along with his allies, leaving behind widespread destruction around the world.
With the mysterious disappearance of the villain, Team Dark is recruited by G.U.N to track down Dr. Eggman's whereabouts and gather data from his bases, deactivating all of them and eliminating any remaining threatening technology.
During these events, Shadow encounters a Dark Chao destroying Badniks that were still active on its own. They end up working together to leave the base and find the rest of the team.
Despite being small, the chaotic Dark Chao begins to follow them and becomes a new member of the team, being nicknamed Kuro by Shadow.
At the end of the mission, Rouge convinces Shadow and Omega to join as secret agents and intermediaries for G.U.N., since they would now have recurring missions to investigate all the technology used by Eggman and help with the security of humanity when needed.
5 years later:
Rouge and Knuckles are now together. In addition to being the owner of a famous jewelry store in the center of Station Square, she also works as a business decoy for T.H.A – a group of professionals who search for treasures and artifacts for research purposes, created by Knuckles. Although she is a very busy entrepreneur, Rouge secretly maintains her work as a secret agent for the President and for G.U.N. occasionally.
Shadow continued working as a G.U.N. Special Agent, investing his rewards into the creation of the MARIA Institute, with the goal of helping children with chronic or severe illnesses make their greatest dreams come true, with Cream being the primary person responsible for helping manage the institution.
Omega, just like Kuro, stayed with Shadow throughout all these years, both also working as Special Agents. (The two share a chaotic love for destroying robots and finishing off what remains of Eggman.)
When they weren’t working, Shadow enjoyed spending most of his time doing simple tasks. Shopping, reading books, tidying up his apartment, helping some acquaintances when they needed it, or even visiting the Institute and other charitable organizations.
With the return of Sonic and Amy, Rouge and Knuckles decided to go ahead with their wedding, now that all their friends could be present at the celebration.
2 years later:
Rouge finds out she’s pregnant.
At first, she feels hesitant to tell Knuckles, as the idea of becoming a mother had never crossed her mind. A pregnancy between species is highly risky for both the child and the mother, which made her even more nervous about what Knuckles would think.
Rouge tried to hide it, but Amy and Cream soon found out. Both of them talked to her to calm her down and told her that Knuckles deserved to know, reassuring her that he would not only be happy with the news but would also support her no matter what decision she made.
When she revealed it to Knuckles, she was surprised by his contagious happiness. Knuckles promised Rouge that if she was comfortable with the idea of them becoming parents, he would do everything to protect her and the child at all costs, and would give all the love she deserved. Upon hearing this response, Rouge felt much less tense and allowed herself to be more positive about the idea of becoming a mother, feeling very happy that Knuckles was willing to take a new step in their lives.
Knuckles and Rouge have a child - Jade Jasper.
4 years later:
The Incident of the End of the World begins. A familiar figure takes control of Eggman's lost technologies, leading a global army to destroy the Earth and all who inhabit it.
During this event, Shadow encounters a father being attacked and cornered with a baby in his arms. He protects him from the robots, but the father explains that he is too weak to resist any longer. Even though Shadow tries to find other ways to help him, he eventually gives in to the man’s last request. The father hands the child to Shadow and begs him to protect and care for her. Shadow takes the child.
Despite struggling a lot during these events, Shadow eventually forms a protective bond with the baby and ends up adopting her as his daughter, Aura the Porcupine.
About the Designs:
Shadow no longer grows, so he chooses to wear his Air Shoes with slightly higher heels.
Rouge only wears this outfit during missions and at T.H.A; at her jewelry store, she wears a different outfit that is less revealing of her secret profession.
Omega painted the symbol that Shadow frequently uses in his honor.
Kuro is a mix of the original DARK CHAO design and the SHADOW CHAO design.
Conclusion…
