It wasn’t too long ago that we learned how sublime of an experience it is when LA’s Taylor Wise remixes Maggie Lindemann. We’re still dancing to the producer’s indie dance interpretation of Things. Now we can smile aplenty and twirl about even more to this airy buoyant, breezy elegant remix of the SoCal chanteuse’s endearing pop song Pretty Girl. Taylor Wise injects the song with summery exuberance on his future pop styled transformation. This effulgent treat is sure to chase away any Valentine’s Day blues.

California producer Big Wild dropped an epic five track EP on Friday named Invincible via Foreign Family Collective, and out of the tracks we haven’t extolled already in recent months comes a snazzy soulful dazzler named Empty Room that features Malaysian singer songwriter Yuna on guest vocals. There’s no emptiness to be found here. Empty Room is a lavish and ravishing tune with hearty synths, robust beats, and a whole lot of aplomb. The future electro quivering track and the rest of Big Wild’s Invicible EP arrive ahead of an Invicible Tour set to begin in Vancouver on March 16th. One of our favorite rising vocalists and progressive soul talents, Brandyn Burnette, seems to be everywhere these days. Whether it’s his solo work, his music with girlfriend Molly Moore (an amazing chanteuse herself) as Cosmos & Creature, or the infinite guest showings he’s turning in on other production talents’ tunes, it’s always a splendid treat to hear his creamy impassioned voice yet again. The latest Brandyn Burnette vocal feature comes by way of a fresh new original from Romanian electronic maestro Boehm, whose breezy tropical, balmy glowing house sends shivers of warm ecstasy through my being as it’s done so many times before.
