𝜗𝜚⋆🐈🐈⬛₊˚ Future! Vilsy Pets
Meet Maple and Corvus! Artsy and Vil's future pet cats!
I got this idea stuck in my head a night or two ago and just dumped it down on a page in like 2-3 hours lol
Corvus is specifically meant to be, I guess you could say, twisted from the Evil Queens crow while Maple is just a cat I found cute while looking for references 🤭
Not 100% sure how often I'll actually draw the two, as I'm not great at drawing AUs more than once lol
However I have thought up at least 2 cute/funny drawings I could draw if I actually feel like it, or even make them some better references...
but with how consistent I am at making references for Artsy possibly not for a while lol
These cats are DEFINITELY spoiled rotten
What do you wanna name your kids?
I’m bored and I wanna hear if you have names for your future kids picked out! If you don’t have names for your kids picked out, tell me what you’re planning on naming your future pets! I’ll get y’all started:
If I have a girl, I’m going to call her Fiona (or maybe Fianna, just because it’s different and lovely). If I have a boy, he will be Gideon, so I can call him Giddy as a nickname (although I very much love the name Alistair/Alastor).
I don’t know what pets await me in the future, but I’m pretty darn sure there will be a cat and some german shepherds at some point: the cat is gonna be Lucy-Blue, and the german shepherds will be Garrus and Guillermo.
The Boyfriend said if we ever get chickens, we can name them little old lady names. So far we have Agnes, Hester, Edith, and Muriel.
@holbycasualtyobsessed, I don’t usually agree with the clothing of pets but these are so fucking cute and I want them all!
I drew some Geckos :D
I'm trying so hard not to be bitter about the loss of those puppies; I know we weren't the only ones that had big dreams for them. But I had been dreaming about watching picture updates all March and April, bringing the puppy home early May, watching him grow throughout the Spring and Summer, thinking of all the things I want to do with him. Now that opportunity is gone, and we're back to square one. Every time I notice new flowers or leaves emerging outside, I feel like time is moving on and our dream is getting left behind.
We have some choices open to us but nothing is guaranteed. At the earliest, we're looking at early June and that seems like the riskier option as far as whether there will be enough puppies, a male in the litter, etc. We don't know that breeder and I don't know how many applications are already in ahead of us. We might have another option which is still in the "What If" phase, but in that case it won't be until Fall that we are bringing home our puppy.... and that's if the pregnancy is successful, the litter is big enough, and there are enough males, etc. I didn't realize Shilohs can be so hard to get ahold of. If we were looking for a GSD we would have the opposite problem, trying to sort through the mountains of puppies out there to find the kind of personality we want, health testing, etc.
I know this is all just normal puppy stuff but with Ivan's death and having no one to call "my dog", it's driving this really impulsive, emotional urge to just jump at every opportunity. We need to slow down and make sure we're getting the right puppy. This is a whole life we'll be responsible for and we need to make sure it's a good match.
It's been two weeks, which is not long.
But long enough to know that the silence and emptiness of a house without pets can't go on forever.
We are looking. We are planning. It's not happening now, but will happen. We will have animal companions again. Hopefully in the Spring. Hopefully sometime around April- May.
