I am aiming for this to be a 37 odd chapter series that will go right across the prompts for Febuwhump. The first 4 chapters are prelude to what will evolve into a Leader and team medical testing and torture based series and will get very Whumpy!!

Calvin met up with Dr Hudson that evening in his home office. The nearby log fire warming the chilled night. He shook off his jacket and accepted a large brandy from Jack as the doctor took his seat across the table from him. A table filled with maps, work schedules and schematics.
“I have a plan to get to our former team and deal a little payback to our dear friends” Dr Hudson smiled as he sipped his own drink. “And by payback I mean ‘Torture the fuck out of them and the sell them to the highest bidder’, in the name of research of course”.
Dr Hudson leaned forward and pushed a satellite image over to Calvin. “This is where I need your help. I need you to confirm building locations and weak points where I can kidnap, hmmm, I mean acquire our subjects”.
“And what are WE going to do with the team when we have them?”
The doctor grinned and raised his glass with a nod toward Calvin. “I knew you wanted this as much as me. My plan is to iron out the kinks in the research, make sure the serum is stable before we re-market it. But I want to go further, I’d like to see if it heals bones as well as skin. I want to see its effects on internal organs more closely. I want to see if it helps numb even the most excruciating forms of pain. What is the worst type of wound it can mend, burns, cuts, full body sections?”
Calvin paused for a moment, brows knitted in concentration over his blue eyes. “We never went to those extremes on the original trials”.
“Yes” sighed Doctor Hudson, “I was always researched focused. This time I’m getting my research finished and delighting in hurting those sons of bitches as much as humanly possible before I cut out their innards and shred them to bits slowly”. The doctor let out a long breath, fists uncurling as the heat from his rant drained from him.
“Ok then” said Calvin and he pulled a file of satellite photos to the top of the pile and flicked through them, taking the time to study each one carefully. “We can’t take them in the compound or at their barracks, we’d never get them out and you can bet they’ve changed all the codes since we left”. He continued to pour over the images before throwing one toward Dr Hudson, it landed on the table in front of him.
“Yes”. Jack pulled the photo toward him and tapped a finger to the picture. “I remember this bar, you always went on a Friday after we’d finished in the lab. It’s off base isn’t it?”
“It is”, Calvin verified the image “and the bar tender owes me a rather large favour, I’m sure I can persuade him to add a little something to the teams last round”
“How do you know you can trust him?”
“Because he knows he either helps me or gets a large calibre round to the forehead”. Calvin tapped his fingers on the desk and proceeded to make the phone call. A short few minutes later he hung up and with a simple nod confirmed, “He’s onboard, now we just have to choose which team members we want to work for us”.
Dr Hudson took in the file with the teams listed skills and read out loud:
“Darius Jenkins: Team Leader. Excellent in firearms and hand to hand combat. Advanced medical training.
AJ (Andy Jenkins): Weapons Specialist, backup field medical technician. No relation to Darius according to files although they get on extremely well, like their own little team.
Danny Louis: Test Subject Procurement Lead, fully trained scout and surveillance officer. Good field medical background
Joel Richardson: Muscle of the team. Carries out abductions of test subjects. Advanced field combat.
Paula Harris (Harris): Highly trained in standard surveillance. Drone surveillance. Computer wizz. Skilled in manipulation, useful asset when test subjects got out of line.”
He closed the file and stood to refill his drink before turning back to Calvin. “I don’t care too much but I think we should just take two of them. Beat the rest senseless and leave them in the street. Much easier to control two. I know you have a say in this too, but I’m taking Darius no matter what. I’m going to abuse him, test on him and break him. I’m going to torture the little bastard until he can’t remember his own name”.
Calvin huffed, “Well then I suggest AJ as the second, they’re really close to each other, we can play on that” Calvin paused for a moment before adding “He’s also an insufferable prick. Would do him good to be taken down a peg or twenty, reduce him to a bleeding mess”.
Dr Hudson took a long drink. “As long as we complete the research I’ll be a happy man, the fact that I’ll make these two suffer inexplicably is just an additional joy to me”.
The doctor raised his glass again and toasted Calvin. “To success my friend, make sure you have the acquisition team ready to go for this Friday”.
