the idea of having to take myself down to the courthouse and listen to testimony for days on end and then go into a room with 11 strangers and debate about whether or not someone should go to prison genuinely makes me feel a bit sick

Aren't you only like 14? Why are you already looking at universities?

um i’ll be turning 16 on nov 4 so no i’m not “only 14″. plus i’m going on college visits this summer so i need to pick colleges to actually visit :P and even if i was only 14, there’s no reason that i couldn’t be looking at them

i've started to look at colleges and man am i overwhelmed. i'm extremely lucky that my dad and step-mom work at a private institution, which allows me to have free tuition at hundreds of schools. i'm feeling very overwhelmed and excited at the same time. i've kinda fallen in love with a school, except it's a long way from home. almost 1000 miles and a lot states (wi to ny). i love the campus and it has all the programs i want (english, poly sci, music, pre-law, spanish). it's scary to me because of how far away it is from home. there's also the fact that i won't have any family nearby or even within driving distance.

Okay, okay. Spring break is almost over. So much to do. SO many things. It’s list time again.

Search, write cover letters for, and apply to jobs/positions with: -CH2M Hill -FWS -SCA -Monterey Bay Aquarium -any aquarium really -Scripps -Hawksbill Turtle Project

And also: -write my internship report so I can y’know, actually graduate -figure out how I’m getting to Anacortes on Wednesday for class  -and also on Friday for a different class -pack to head back to Bellingham -face my fears and check my bank account -then I should probably pay bills

I just want to be an LPC and I'm just so scared I'm never going to get there.
