As my first semester of my Ph.D. comes to a quick end, I just wanted to say heartfelt thank you to my Cohort AKA “The Clinic”. You all have made this program and this semester so much more enjoyable. You all are the most unique and intelligent group of people I have ever met. I really don’t think that I could’ve made it through this semester without y’all and your support. Sunday Confessionial - I’m going to be honest with ya’ll, growing up I knew I was smart, however, I didn’t want my peers to know I was smart. I really regret spending all those years dumbing myself down and pretending to not be as smart. I love learning, being in school (hence why I signed up for 5 more years of school), and I wish I didn’t spend so many years pretending that I didn’t or downplaying it so much to make others comfortable.
