Futuristic Celestials

(DCA x Doraemon AU)

Lore:

FazCo is a big corporation created by both inventors Henry Emily and William Afton for the purpose of providing robots for different services

Henry comes up with the “Celestial Caretakers” line where he first creates a line of Moon-mons as a beta test

Moon-mon is designed to be a sweet and gentle caretaker bot, made to help young children fall asleep and learn more about the world

Moon-mon’s model is sent to a few kids on the production team, including Henry and William’s

Moon-man is first sent to Cassie as a baby and the two of them establish a close bond together

Serving as a uncle figure to Cassie, Moon-man helps take care of her while her father is at work

One day, while Moon-man’s charging and Cassie’s fast asleep, a small robotic rabbit enters the room

The robotic rabbit claws it’s way into Moon-mon’s casing, chewing down some of his internal wiring

This immediately wakes up Moon-mon and he’s sent back to FazCo to get fixed

He glitches out on his way there, becoming aggressive and insisting that he can’t just leave - he has to look after Cassie!

After he gets fixed not only does he have to get a new paint job on his casing, but also some “coding updates”

These “coding updates” (insisted strangely by William himself less the bot gets scrapped for being “faulty”) slightly change Moon-mon’s personality

Moon-mon becomes a bit passive aggressive, randomly quiet at time, and doesn’t really like to interact with people (especially William) unless if it’s Henry or Cassie

To save Moon-mon since FazCo thinks it’s time to change up the Celestial Caretakers model line, Henry sends him away to the past

He insists this for his own reasons, and after some fussing and being skeptical, Moon-mon agrees

So away the bot goes and meets [Name] at the beginning of a new year in the 21st century

Moon-mon:

Height: 7 FT (213.36 cm)

Dark blue with blueish and purple accents (used to be a few shades lighter)

The older sibling (comes from the 22nd century)

Has the “outdated” gadgets (when compared with his brother)

Lives with [Name] in their apartment

Nicknames: Moon, Moonie/Big Brother (by Sun-mon), Moonpie/Moonman (by [Name]), The Darker One (by Gregory)

Is mentioned by his brother to Gregory and Cassie, but they haven’t met him in person (they’ve only seen pictures of him and heard stories about him by Sun-mon)

Terrified of rabbits, hares, bunnies - anything that resembles a rabbit in any shape or form

Loves cats however as he finds them adorable

Isn’t much of a dog fan as they bark a lot at him when he goes out sometimes

His favorite treat is blueberry muffins

He can eat because he’s been programmed to test-taste food before serving it to other humans to avoid food poisoning, allergies, etc.

Better at cooking than baking

Sun-mon:

Height: 6 FT 6” (201.168 cm)

Bright yellow with cream white and reddish accents

The younger sibling (comes from the 23rd century)

Seen as the one with the “better” gadgets for caretaking and other things

Lives with Cassie who’s grown up to be a young tween (and sometimes Gregory but he mostly stays with Freddy as it can get chaotic when he’s with Sun-mon)

Nicknames: Sun, Sunny/Little Bro (by Moon-mon), Sunshine/Sunman (by [Name]), Sunny (by Cassie), Creep (by Gregory)

Occasionally drops in to see how Moon-mon is doing with [Name]

Has met [Name] and they fairly get along together

His favorite treat is lemon tarts (has the same function as his brother)

Better at baking than cooking and prefers to make sweets

[Name] :

You’re a vaguely aged 20-30 year old adult going to college and living in an apartment in the 21st century

You live by yourself apart from Vanessa who’s your roommate

But Vanessa works long hours at your workplace so you spent most of the time to yourself while she comes back to sleep or grab a quick bite

You both work at an office job where the hours are grueling and dull, but the pay is decent

You meet Moon-mon in the dead of night, as you’re scrolling away on your phone as you’re currently on leave to focus on your college studies (Vanessa is at work) but are too antsy to fall asleep

So of course it’s quite a shock when you hear a estranged voice asking why you’re still up when you should be sleeping

Moon-mon explains why he’s there - to take care of you as he’s been sent by someone “important to you” and will be living with you from now on

Things happen and while Vanessa finds him to be “off-putting,” she’s chill with Moon-mon just as long as he lets her be

Futuristic Celestials [Meeting Vanessa]

As mentioned in the OG post, [Name] and Vanessa are both roommates living in the same apartment

Vanessa works late nights and long hours at work, leaving you mostly to yourself, but you remember very fondly when you two first met

You and Vanessa have different career paths, but have some of the same classes needed for pre-requisites

And you both need some job experience on your resumes, so coincidentally you both work at the same company together under different departments

The first day of class was a morning class, with few people looking exhausted such as yourself

Sadly for you, this class was required - you were a bit too late when applying for classes so all the good time slots got filled up already

So, not really paying attention, you happen to sit next to a blonde girl busily typing away on her laptop with a few rabbit stickers on its casing

She’s busy taking notes, reviewing the class syllabus before it even starts in a few minutes

You also brought a laptop, but decided to keep it away in your bag as you wanted to take handwritten notes for the day

Personally, you believe that handwritten notes are more effective for studying purposes as you tend to zone out a bit when using any technical devices

So, after bringing out your pencil case and notebook, you decide to throw a quick “hi” her way

She ignores you for a bit, and you think that she must be engrossed (or maybe rude) in her typing but eventually she greets you back

While you’re not a fan of it, you engage in some small talk with her as you want to make new friends this semester

Eventually you learn throughout the first week about how she’s applying for the same company you’re planning to work at, how her favorite animal is rabbits, how her favorite color is purple, etc.

She’s looking for a roommate, as family relations are rough as her previous roommates have been either too loud and inconsiderate of her personal boundaries

You, being nice on your end, offer that you don’t mind if she wanted to be your roommate - you two can split the rent, do your own chores, and you completely understand if she needs the peace and quiet

She’s very thankful for your offer, and since she’s moved in, she’s been a decent roommate

But over time ever since she’s started to work at the company, she’s become more isolated

She’s also became very tired, tending to type and type away on her laptop when she comes back

You’re worried for her, but she insists that she’s fine and that this is practically normal for a work life

When Moon-mon arrives, he asks if Vanessa’s always like this…you tell him no

Vanessa’s still your friend. You would give her a second chance

She’s told you about her past and she’s been through a lot

Her “rough” family relations mostly involve her father

And throughout her life, she’s been to therapy and has had multiple therapists

She dyed the tips of her hair and her father disapproved

So she dyed it back to blonde, not wanting to disappoint him

She’s kept to herself, always being studious both as a distraction and to be able to move out and live somewhere else. Away from her bad memories and from him

That was, until you arrived, brought like a silent blessing to her life

You, of course, respect Vanessa’s secrets and how she doesn’t want anyone else to know so much about her so you just say to Moon-mon that she’s just been through a lot and leave it at that

Moon-mon doesn’t push it any further and drops the topic to ask what you’d like to eat for tonight

And, quietly, you slip him a recipe request for Vanessa’s favorite for when she returns

Futuristic Celestials [Food Section]

As mentioned in the OG post, the two have coding/machinery built into them for the purposes of trying out foods to deem them safe and edible for their humans to consume

This means that they have “taste buds” installed

While they’re equipped to be able to handle a variety of different flavors and textures, they’ve grown to become accustomed to the ones they prefer the most

And while preparing food to their beloved ones, they’re been able to adapt and make all sorts of different dishes as learning AI

They’ve been able to make foods from different cultures, personalized meals - that sort of thing

Moon-mon:

His favorite fruits include blueberries, figs, kiwi, and dates

His favorite type of nut is pistachios

His favorite type of boba is taro

Favorite drink is milk with honey

Prefers tea over coffee

Besides blueberry muffins, he enjoys cinnamon rolls and dark chocolate as his favorite “sweet treats”

While cooking, he prefers to make simple dishes made best for sleeping well on a full stomach

Since [Name] (much to his displeasure) tends to pull all-nighters or work long hours to help Vanessa ironically catch up on sleep, he’s learned what foods are your favorite

So he makes you those foods whenever that happens

Isn’t opposed to making Vanessa meals too, but he just leaves them out for her with a small note attached

Vanessa is thankful for this and enjoys the meals he makes for her but wouldn’t admit it out loud due to her own personal guilt

Sun-mon:

His favorite fruits include lemons, strawberries, bananas, and mangoes

His favorite type of nut is sweet almonds

His favorite type of boba is brown sugar

Favorite drink is lemonade

Likes tea but is more of a coffee person

Besides lemon tarts, he enjoys strawberry cheesecake and cupcakes as his favorite “sweet treats”

While baking, he prefers to make treats that make you energetic to start the day or wake you up from feeling so sleepy

Knows that both Cassie and Gregory are picky eaters so he quickly learned what they like

Although he wants to make sure they have a balanced diet, Sun-mon sometimes sneaks in some vegetables for lunch/dinner

Has made [Name] some sweets before whenever he visits and they are in love with his baking

This sometimes makes Moon-mon jealous and Sun-mon teases him about it (out of love of course)
