Nasir had made decision upon thrusting sword though Roman soldier's back in the courtyard of his former life. Yet it was uncertainty still that burdened every step through the only home he had ever known.

Under Dominus, it had been very clear what was expected of him, what he could do, and what consequence would follow to which action - most of the time, at least.

Now, all of it was gone, and Nasir knew he was not alone left afloat by sudden lack of certainties. Most of the others were very quiet, as though constantly in Dominus’ presence instead of amongst themselves, heads quick to bend to avoid attention. They knew not what whims these gladiators were prone to, uncertainty equal to what Nasir felt.

Yet he didn't bend his head, forced back that long-honed instinct whenever it arose. Instead, he observed.

(Maybe, if he could find out the rules to this new life fast enough, he could help the others not stumble over them in error and pay the price for it, the way he had tried with any new slave that had entered the house of his dominus.)

What drove Crixus was easiest to see, single-mindedness of pursuit of the woman he had lost seeming to make him apathetic to all else save safety of Spartacus’ life. Spartacus himself, charismatic and idealistic, was harder to predict, a set of values driving him Nasir did not trust himself to have figured out yet. Agron was hardest, had only yet shown one thing that had hinted at deeper meaning to him.

Nasir tried not to let uncertainty slow his silent steps through well-known halls. Lights still glimmered, though many, gladiators and freed slaves, were retreating for the night to designated spots with mats or cloaks or other fabric on the ground. It was now that chance seemed highest of catching the man without company or immediate task, if he was not yet asleep.

Maria first.

2. Do you have any controversial headcanons that go against what is generally  accepted by the fandom? Do you incorporate this into writing your muse or keep it to yourself?

I don’t think I have any headcanons that go against what is accepted by the fandom since I only talk to about five others in the fandom because I don’t know many others.

It seems to be generally accepted that after the series when all of the teens left on the run, Maria was probably almost killed and had to be healed -- therefore turning her into another hybrid gaining powers like Liz and Kyle.

The one thing I do that I haven’t seen others do is I do blend TV!Maria with Book!Maria in that I have her being very perceptive and able to see auras sometimes like she did in the books.

6. What is the general opinion of your muse’s fandom about them? Do you agree with it?

Of the people in the fandom that I know of we all agree that Maria is the bomb and fucking amazing with everything she goes through.

Oh gods.  So so many headcanons for Phoebe. So many that are probably REALLY unpopular.  However, since the Charmed fandom can sometimes be a toxic place, I keep MOST of my thoughts and opinions to myself.

One of the main ones?  She only refused to try and work things out when Cole came back from the Wastelands because she had been through so damn much trauma in a short amount of time and she was fucking scared of taking any risks again with him. She flat-out told him that she still loved him and probably always would.

6.  What is the general opinion of your muse’s fandom about them? Do you agree with it?

I’ve seen Phoebe get a lot of hate in the fandom for her different choices.  She was never meant to be as mellow as Piper or as overly responsible as Prue. She was always the free-spirit trying to find her way. Losing both of her parents as a baby fed into a lot of her self-worth issues and what she thought she could or wanted to do.

Yes, she grew up and became more responsible, but she always, always led with her heart -- something that Patty and Penny both commented on quite often.

His back hit the wall with a resounding thud. Agron’s eyes widened and he stared down at his lover, surprised. There was no heat or want in those amazing eyes, only anger. Hurt. “I only mean to give you chance to fucking live!” He pushed against that arm at his throat, silently proud of just how strong the Syrian was. But he could not think of such things.

Castus.

Castus was still about them, and he saw the way the Cilician still cast appreciative gaze upon his heart. The former-pirate could give Nasir the life he deserved beyond the Alps. “I would see you to happiness.” With Castus. He did not utter the words aloud, not wishing to propel Nasir into a further rage, absent passion.

“I cannot lose you. I cannot drag you to your doom, at my side.” There would be no return, he held no illusions. Agron truly expected that their diversion would result in the death of those who fought. “I go to my death so that you can live. I would not see you fall in battle when you can find your happiness.”

Chance to live?! Nasir’s eyes actually tear up at that, in spite of the snarl still being on his face. He’d long accepted that he would die in this war. They both had. Why now was Agron suddenly attempting to send him away to freedom absent him?

Nasir knew why. Castus. He didn’t speak the name, though, he only huffed and angry laugh when Agron says he wants to see Nasir to happiness. Nasir cannot imagine a life absent Agron where he would be happy. They did not always see eye to eye, recently they had fought more than ever, but Agron meant more to Nasir than his own life.

“You would not drag me anywhere, Agron. I would go with you willingly,” he hisses. His anger is beginning to be overwhelmed by emotion, though, and he eases back his arm against Agron’s throat. He ignored the tear that spills down his cheek, still glaring at his lover. Perhaps soon to be ex-lover?

“How are you so fucking blind to seeing that there is no happiness for me absent you?” he demands. Even if there was, eventually, letting Agron go to his death alone would haunt Nasir forever. “How can you not see what losing you will do to me?” He exhaled a shaking breath and stepped back, lowering his guard. “I never believed day would come when you would wish me away from your side.”

Elizabeth shrugged slightly. “Men who knew more than you did have erred in that and they were not sent to the locker. But now you know.”

She removed her hand from the sword, sensing that she was in no danger from him at this moment. “Not a one of us is ever at our best when our spirits drive into the cups.  What matters is how we deal with the aftermath.”

She leaned against the railing, eying him in silence for a few long moments.

“I will not ask information that you do not offer freely as long as you can swear you will not betray me or my men. We all have stories and reasons why we do what we do. Work with us and whatever we find or take, we divide evenly between each of us. No one man gets more than any other.  Not even me.”

She was silent again, then shook her head. “The offer stands if you decide that a life of piracy is not for you.  We will find you a place to safely disembark and go your own way. Unlike some, we do not keep unwilling people in our crew.”

@zippcrah I really couldn’t say enough wonderful things. The mun has been a joy to follow on every blog, manages a wide variety of muses and the research they put into them is something to be admired and copied. 

@symbioteburnout Some of the best blogs are the ones that give love to a character that really needs it and Andi is one deserving of so much more. I’m glad she’s got dedicated mun that knows her inside and out and that Ororo gets to have mentorship type things with her. 

@fvckthegods   I don’t think it’s possible for anyone to love Agron more than you and really without your tireless enthusiasm and talent floating around the Sparctus rp fandom it would probaly completely die out. At least on Tumblr and that would be a dark day for me. ;n; Naevia and I pray it never comes to pass.
