dropping my fuwamoco rant on the weird fans here because i saw a Pinterest post and i finally found the right words to express my opinion.

irl twin here if that makes my words stronger and oh my god it makes me so annoyed and enrages me how twins are always so sexualized in media. for example, the amount of times i've seen twins in anime used as a love triangle in some weird and twisted perverted way in anime is so sickening. the way so many media will inappropriately place twins together has been a problem and sadly the way the world is, this is always a problem. even if we ignore the possibilities and say twins weren't sexualized at all in media - there will always be some sort of "fan" who will ship them. (which is fucking disgusting) "siscon fuwawa!" shut up you're just self projecting your weird fantasizes/fetish onto them "but they play into it!" the hololive fandom is full of disgusting gooner men who objectify women. quite literally anything they do someone will go and make it about incest. its a job, and clippers like to clickbait and exaggerate for the sake of views. i think people always ignore that its a job and sometimes they are directed by staff to do stuff. i cant say much as i obviously dont work for hololive and not that sure about it's history so i dont wanna assume. but im pretty sure hololive has had some of their members do stuff for the sake of fanservice, ships, money or a funny bit. also, like i mentioned at the start; i have a IDENTICAL twin sister and people tend to forget the bond between twins is really strong and imo different then most sibling bonds etc etc. also before someone says something weird, no, stop being gross and thinking of twins like that. that bond twins share is not being romantically inlove with each other. "they play into it" have you ever maybe stopped to think they "play into it" with pressure from fans? i mean come on, you can't tell me you've never seen how people act on twitter in your life. people get mad over the littlest things and if their oshis aren't making out with each other, or they do literally anything that slightly doesn't appeal to ALL of their audience twitter idiots will go and send death threats. i wouldn't be surprised if pressure made them "play into it", considering half of fwmcs chat one time tried to convince the twins to take a shower together ???! and the chat was weird about it as well?? because they want to put their fetish onto real women. don't forget the people you watch are entertainers and also REAL PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCREEN and aren't your ocs for you to sexualize. fuwawa and mococo are twins in real life and making these weird comments about them just show's you're an incel and should die or seek an insane amount of therapy.

if you wanna ship fuwawa or mococo with someone so bad there is literally so many talents in hololive you could ship their PERSONAS with. stop shipping sisters together. if you wanna do that so bad go watch an anime or play a game that was made for your targeted audience. stop pressuring it onto real women
