Jack muttered quietly to himself as he watched the crowd of people around him. With spring on the horizon, the spirit was at a loss of what he could do to bring fun to the world. Sure it would be winter again before long in some areas, but others, they left him at a loss.

Pale fingers ran themselves through silken tresses with the utmost care,taking time to work the hair product into the long,red locks.Said red-headed girl was perched on the plush stool in front of Aria's vanity,pulling open drawers full of make-up and more hair products,which Aria was now looking through to get hair spray.

The albino woman hummed when she took out the strawberry scented stuff,and set it on the white vanity table,also grabbing a comb to run through Kira's hair.Both of them were ready to go,fully dressed and done up-but,of course,there was a problem.

That problem,of course,being Kira's hair,which Aria had spent the last half hour working the kinks out of.

     Oh nononono, she accidentally bumped into someone, most likely a customer, and knocked them down-- mayday, mayday--

     "X-xin lỗi...! I mean--" English, Liên, English, "--Sorry. I apologise; I should have watched where I was going. Forgive me."

     A sheepish chuckle passed her lips as she placed the platter of food in her hold down onto a nearby (luckily empty) table, and, upon making sure that nothing had been spilled from the mishap, she offered the other a hand.

     "Are you alright?"

   His greyed eyes bury deep into her russet ones- his features gaining less stability the more he dwelled on his seemingly worthless state. His eyes were gaining paleness and his skin slowly melts to a black smoke… The white trails stay.

     He’s struggling to stay in her reality- even as her arm wraps over his shoulders. “It’s… One of the reasons ‘m dead… Was always called worthless, useless, a waste of space and air and skin… Disapproving peers and even worse parents…” He raises a hand to his lips to stop himself from choking back a sob— but fails.

      That caused an ache in her chest: she didn’t like hearing about things like that, because it didn’t seem fair to her. Why would someone be treated like that by others? Why were humans so cruel to those that didn’t deserve it? ❝ You… Oh, goodness, you poor thing— ❞

              She didn’t know what to say to him: she didn’t know how to make it better; she didn’t know how to alleviate his pain. ❝ None of that is true, though, you know. None of it— It doesn’t matter who said it! Not one word of that is true. ❞ Her tone was adamant, russet eyes showing her concern. ❝ You— You’re worth a lot! ❞ How could she, with mere words, make him see how much he meant to her? She counted him as one of her dearest (and only) friends, and he never failed to make her smile. How could she convey that?

   Unfortunately- if she had been in his life prior to his death, then maybe he would still be alive... But he would have aged- while she may have not... Her warmth is welcome along his back and he finds himself gently leaning into her while the cold strands of smoke burn against his cheeks. 

    Really there's not much you can do for him in terms of reassurance, once he is set on this mindset, there's not much hope of him going back... But your presence seems to calm him some. With a cracked voice he speaks once more. "Their words... Delved deep into my heart and froze it over... My coldness stems from it..." He sighs a little, his form slowly connecting back together- but still being unstable enough to cause him to 'glitch' every now and then.

   All she had to do was say what was on her mind...

    Jay's a little nervous with so many people being around him and possibly completely unaware that he even exists-- he supposes he should delve into a more tangible realm so that they could all physically see him... But he guesses that it wasn't his business to intrude on people daily lives- or materialise out of flipping nowhere-  So he stays put.
