Summary:
Feng Xin wondered if Mu Qing kept his eyes on the array as well, before finding it strange that he had spent years in heaven now, and had never seen him even once. The realm felt strangely empty without anyone he used to know being there. He didn’t even know what palace Mu Qing joined, and occasionally prodding around for the information never helped, because Feng Xin wasn't practiced in investigative work.
He must know that Feng Xin is Nan Yang Jiangjun by now, and yet he hadn't heard a word from him. Maybe Mu Qing joined a civil god’s palace, so he was always sitting inside and busy with forms.
Feng Xin snorted, imagining Mu Qing stuck behind a desk filing paperwork for the next hundred years.
He was probably bitter that Feng Xin ascended before him.
OR: Feng Xin ascends, and, naturally, assumes Mu Qing did too.
