Quote of the day
The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said:
“When a man from my ummah gets up to pray at night, striving against his own self to get up and purify himself, there are knots on him. When he washes his hands in wudoo’, one knot is undone. When he washes his face, another knot is undone. When he wipes his head another knot is undone. When he washes his feet, another knot is undone. Then Allaah says to those who are veiled (in the Unseen): ‘Look at this slave of Mine, he is striving against his own self and asking of Me. Whatever My slave asks of Me shall be his.”
(Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Hibaan. Saheeh al-Targheeb, 627).
Narrated Abū Sa'id:
I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Indeed, anyone who fasts for one day for Allāh's Pleasure, Allāh will keep his face away from the (Hell) fire for (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years."

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said,
"He who utters a hundred times in a day these words:
La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ala kulli sha'in Qadir
(there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),'
he will have a reward equivalent to that for emancipating ten slaves,
a hundred good deeds will be recorded to his credit,
hundred of his sins will be blotted out from his scroll,
and he will be safeguarded against the devil on that day till the evening;
and no one will exceed him in doing more excellent good deeds except someone who has recited these words more often than him.

Surah Al-Tawbah, Surah Al-Nisa and Silver
It is reported that ʿUmar b. Al-Khaṭṭāb – Allāh be pleased with him – wrote (by way of instructions):
Learn Sūrah Al-Barāʾah (At-Tawbah), and teach your women Sūrah Al-Nūr. And have them wear silver for adornment.

Friday The Day Of Celebration
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Verily, Allah has made this day (of Friday) a celebration for the Muslims. So whoever comes to Friday (prayer), then let him bathe himself, and if he has any perfume let him put some on, and use the toothstick.”
● [رواه ابن ماجه ١٠٩٨ وصحيح الترغيب ١\٢٩٨]
Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said: "The Friday prayer is from the greatest of congregations of the Muslims."

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: ❝Increase in salutations upon me, on the day of Friday (Jumu'ah) and its night.❞

Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of prayers with Allāh is the prayer of morning (Fajr) on the Day of Friday in congregation.”

Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays will be adorned with light from that Friday to the next."

Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday will have a light for him between this Friday and the next."

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Send prayer upon me abundantly on the day of Jumu’ah (Friday) & on the night of Jumu’ah (Thursday night) for he who sends prayer upon me one time, Allāh sends prayer upon him 10 times.”

Prophet ﷺ said: "There is such an hour on Friday, that if any Muslim makes Du’ā during it, his Du’ā will be accepted."

Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he takes, the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer).”

Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ said: "Jummah to Jummah expiates the minor sins in between them except for the major sins."
