catch the silver trio walking in like they are the absolute main characters. no one can touch them in their matching strawberry dress vibes. ginny is coming to this arm in arm with luna and neville and they will definitely be together a fair amount of the night. she might try to dance with a couple people, maybe a certain few she’s saving a dance for. she absolutely will be hanging out by the bar, buying a round of shots for anyone who wants to join. she’s really just trying to enjoy the energy of the ship, having not been on many boats before and just act like the kids that her and her friends are meant to be.

ginny weasley | behind closed doors

- where does your muse live? a house? apartment? how big is the space?

ginny lives with luna lovegood, above her tattoo shop. they moved in together and it just made more sense for them, seeing as how they’re almost always together. it just makes movies nights way easier. she used to have her own space downtown but now shares with luna.  (so would be open to anyone who wants to be previous roommates, hmu)

- does your muse live with anyone else? who are those people?

her emotional support ravenclaw, luna lovegood

- how much time does your muse spend in their place? do they go out often or spend a lot of time in?

i would say ginny spends a fair amount of time in her apartment. when she’s not at work, or out flying, she’s here. she and luna have standing movie nights each week with neville, and enjoys having company over whenever they want to pop in so she is happy to spend a decent chunk of time in the flat. she always works from home some days so all around, you usually can find her at home. 

- what is the view outside of your muse’s window?

the side of someone’s building lmao

- what do they sleep on? do they have a lot of pillows? what about blankets or stuffed animals?

she’s got a couple pillows, and a quilt. she’s not big on too much being on her bed, but she does like being warm, so she’s happy to add more blankets when she needs. mostly though, she just has her quilt and she’s happy with that.

- what items do they keep next to their bed?

her wand, her phone, a journal for any thoughts that come up throughout the night, and some hair ties.

- what is your muse’s most valuable possession?

probably her broom

- does your muse like to keep a lot of trinkets around or are they more minimalistic?

ginny is definitely a fan of trinkets and clutter. growing up in the burrow, she loves that lived in feeling. she’s more than happy to have most surfaces covered in something, even if it’s just some papers for work. things being too cleared off makes her feel like she can’t relax. 

- does your muse have any pictures up? what are they of?

absolutely. she’s got a ton of her family, of all of her friends. she likes taking pictures whenever she can when she and her friends hang out, and will print them out the next day. if she doesn’t hang them up at home, she’ll take them to her desk at work. ginny is just a fan of reminding herself of the love that surrounds her. thank you goodnight.

- what, if any, other decorations does your muse have?

she’s got some posters up of muggle bands she likes, an idea board for work. she also has some other paintings she found at thrift stores that she’ll hang up. tons of fairy lights and just anything she sees that makes her happy.

- does your muse like having guests over?

absolutely. she is the first one to invite people over, and is happy to have an open door for her friends and family. 

- how tidy is your muse’s home/room?

i would say it’s an organized chaos. ginny definitely isn’t the tidiest, but it’s never fully dirty. she has a hard time with clutter and conventional organization, but she never lets things get grimy or dusty. she will usually spend her mornings trying to clean if she has the day off, but there are more important things than trying to scrub a baseboard.

- does your muse have any pets living with them? what about plants?

ginny does have arnold, her pygmy puff, even though he’s getting up there in age, she still loves him dearly and is happy that she was able to bring him with her to dc. she also has a fair amount of plants and while she isn’t the best plant parent, she likes them a ton and tries her hardest.

- is your muse happy with their living situation? what would your muse’s dream house look like?

yeah, absolutely. she’s living with her best friend, what more is there to want. of course she would love a real house one day, but for now she is absolutely happy with her situation.

this isn’t an event plot call, i’m not that fast. but i just wanted to make a quick update post on my baby girl ginny, before getting anything event related out. so click the read more for some updated information ~~~

so, i’m not doing a full restart on her character, more like a soft refresh. i haven’t liked where i’ve been taking her, and the path that she’s gone down. i’ve felt like i’ve lost ginny’s voice over the past few months, so i’m going to be doing a soft refresh, 

i am dropping the plot line from the 1920′s event where she was the one responsible for harry’s death. 

so, she’s going to be a little bit more chill now, a lot less guilt hanging over her head and even more intense on trying to get harry’s memories back fully to get on with their lives as they were before

ginny is now on the road to becoming an editor for her paper, she’s made it onto the front page with an article she’s written and loving every second of this job

she is currently looking for some people to form a sort of janky quidditch team with. so look out for a wanted connection from that

i’ll probably drop any threads directly involved with that plotline, but otherwise will be keeping the rest of my threads with her, just playing her a little bit closer to the original book ginny we all know and love!

does your muse use any social media? what sites do they use? how much of an online presence do they have?

ginny has a couple forms of socials, she’s got instagram, tiktok, twitter, and a tinder. she uses instagram a lot, twitter is just for work / communicating with parents if she needs to, and then tiktok, she’s posted like 1 thing on it so. she really doesn’t spend a lot of time on socials?? she will occasionally post a story but otherwise she’s gonna post like twice a month. if that.

what kind of accounts does your muse follow online? and what do they post on their own accounts?

a lot of just friends instagrams. she likes to keep her feeds relatively clean and doesn’t want to get bogged down by a lot of celebs and stuff that she just doesn’t care about.

is your muse comfortable with a phone or computer? do they use them often? how literate are they with technology?

yeah definitely!! she uses technology daily so she is very comfortable with it!!

what kind of profile picture(s) does your muse use on various apps? how often do they change their profile pic/icon?

what ever recent picture looks cool ?? she really doesn’t change it that often so, the most recent one is probably from like april or something

are they someone who takes a ton of photos when they’re with friends or family? do they end up in a lot of photos?

yeah she takes a lot of pictures, just of whatever looks nice. she’s got an eye for photography so she tries to take pictures when she can!! i think she ends up in them every so often but not as many as she takes of others!!

if given the opportunity, would your muse prefer to make money through an online channel rather than a traditional job?

probably not?? she likes her traditional job and feels like she wouldn’t be able to have that same kind of meaningful impact on lives if she isn’t teaching / coaching and just making her money from the internet.

do they have any hobbies that take up a lot of their time? what are they? are there any special interests your muse has that they like to share with people? are there any that they keep secret?

ginny’s a big sporty outdoorsy kinda gal, so she will spend a lot of time outside, playing any kind of game, going on hikes and walks, going for runs etc. she’s also weirdly good at hacky sack??? and frisbee. she’s just that sporty person who is always down for some kind of park trip. she probably spends the other half of her time doing the other thing she loves, hanging out with her friends. her and luna have like a movie night schedule and she will do whatever she can to make sure she is there for that. 

your muse has a whole day to themselves but not enough time to plan a trip or event. what do they do for that free day?

she’s up at like 6am and going for a run before it’s too hot, she’d probably end up bringing breakfast back for luna, doing some chores and then heading down to some trails to go on a hike and explore the more woodsy areas of dc !!! she’d really just wanna spend whatever free time she can enjoying the outdoors for longer than she usually can during normal work hours.

does your muse listen to anything in particular in their private time? if so, are they more of a music person or a podcast person? what genres do they prefer?

ginny puts on those like spotify playlists that’re like “wanderlust” or “teenage movie vibes” and just goes with those for the rest of the day. she’ll find a band she likes in them and probably explore them a little bit more later on.

would your muse prefer to go out to spend time with loved ones, or would they rather stay in?

another gal who just loves going out and doing things (couldn’t be me)

does your muse use any dating apps, or do they prefer to meet people the old fashioned way?

yeah, ginny definitely uses dating apps. she kinda enjoys both ways of meeting people and sees value in both options! but she definitely uses dating apps lmao

if they absolutely had to write a tinder bio what would it say?

i promise you do not have to keep up with me on a hike until the 3rd date. at least.
