«y/n, are you nervous?» Draken asks you, as you fidget with the sleeves of your oversized sweater, on your way to the café where Emma and Mikey are waiting for you.
«Do you think my clothes are too casual? Maybe I should have worn something prettier. Look at me! I'm dressed like I'm going to the konbini round the corner.»
«Mikey can't wear something nice for his life, what are you worried about? You're made for each other.»
You don't know whether to consider it an attempt to reassure you or just an utter insult. But you let go, anyway. After all, what you want is for Mikey to like you just the way you are.
Growing up with Draken made you less attentive to things such as clothes and neat hairstyles, and keener on cultivating inner beauty, instead.
Once you get to the café, you spot Mikey and Emma sitting at a table, cheerily waving at you.
«Draken!» Emma stands up and rushes to him, making him visibly combust as she throws her arms around his neck.

When you look at them, you just can't hold back a smile. They are so in love and happy around each other, it is contagious.

The date goes on smoothly, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Draken and Emma are casually holding hands on the table, chatting and making fun of Mikey at every given opportunity, while he ignores everyone and eats tons of pastries as if nothing else matters.
You and Mikey have been dating for a month, by now. You know he is neither the talkative type, nor a boy of romantic gestures. He is also a bit clumsy and oblivious, quite blunt and inappropriate at times, but you are not bothered at all, because he externalises his feelings through an entirely different kind of language, something that made you fell head over heels in love with him.
«Say aaah— More, more! AAAH—» He motions for you to open your mouth wider, so that he can gently push a strawberry covered in chocolate between your lips. «It is yummy, isn't it?»
He is so cute and careless of the surroundings, you can't help but give his cheek a soft peck. Then you nod, contentedly chewing on your strawberry. «Sweet!»
«Am I hallucinating things?» Draken whispers to Emma's ear, in quite a shock. «Or is he actually sharing his food?»
«I guess we have a winner.» Emma winks. «y/n broke a record!»
Sharing food might be meaningless and ordinary to many, but to you and Mikey it is just another a way to say I love you.
