Dandelion got his memories wiped and replaced with a fabricated ones, a life he never lived. He doesn't remember anyone, not his friends, not the one he loves.

Ruan stayed with him, so he wouldn't be alone. Dande doesn't remember, but Ruan does.

And yet, Dande feels strange. He doesn't know him - but he has been so lonely for long. He is warm and comforting - it almost seems like he treasures him deeply. A strange feeling.

siri started playing Barracuda at breakfast this morning and I was *overcome* with the memory of the scene in the 1999 Charlie’s Angels movie where Lucy Liu turns up at the company the Angels are trying to infiltrate in a black skintight leather suit, a riding crop and librarian glasses and Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore are in drag as men and truly, that moment is a large part of why I am what I am (gay).
