the thing that really gets me about danzen is that chozen was the first person to unconditionally believe what daniel told him about silver. the first person to not make fun of him or question his memory or tell him that it couldn't have been that bad. instead, he tells him, "it's okay. i've got you. and if he wants to hurt you ever again, he's gonna have to go through me"
