Families will gather. Restaurants will reopen. People will travel. The pandemic may feel like it’s behind us—even if it’s not.

Monday August 13th 2013- Diary of Gabby Jones-1
Dear Diary,
It's 2am and the reason I'm writing this is because I feel feelings are important to document. As well as thoughts, ideas, and current events.
Right now I'm feeling a whole mixture of things. Here, Ill make you a list:
1) Dread
2) Regret
3) Bewilderment
4) Concern
5) Desperation
6) Hope
Dread because summer is ending and my life at school isn't usually that great. And I'm fairly sure I will end up on the same buss as me ex-best friend Tarrah who has terrorized pretty much my entire middle school career. Another reason I'm dreading the inevitable end of summer would be because of a promise my brother made to his mocktrial teacher, swearing that I would join this year. I don't think i even want to. Macktrial is all memorization. I have the memory of an old broken down computer, which is like none, and according to that analogy i also have a tendency to crash at the most inconvenient moments.
I feel regret because I never got to tell my friend who just seemingly moved good bye. And also because i didn't even do half the things i wanted to do this summer, but that is how most summers go.
I feel bewilderment because I'm not shore what to do now that i finally finished writing my first novel. I'll admit, I'm kind of lost without it.
Concern because my friends who basically just moved (Mac) hasn't told me much about her life in Ohio and i don't know weather or not i should be concerned. Have i mentioned that she has threatened to and i think actually tried once to kill herself? Personally, I dont get it. Why end your life in a crappy time? Crappy times will get better eventually. I'd rather die accidentally with high spirits then die of my own accord with low spirits.
I've felt desperation lately because, for some ungodly reason, everyone feels like unloading their problems on me! Sooner or later I'm going to need someone to talk to, but right now it seams as though all of my friends are occupied with their own lives. I need my own form of Steaphen Salvator from the Vampire Diaries. I need someone to come and lend their ear and shoulder to me.Mainly, i just need that guy that will respectfully shut the hell up and listen to my problem when i need them to and give advice that can be found useful in the real world. I highly doubt this person exists. If he dose, then where the hell has he been for the past 14 some odd years of my life?!
I feel a little twinge of hope for the following school year because that deeply suppressed inner child still thinks that high school will be different than middle school, better maybe even. That i can some how do what i want and not feel so scared to express who i am.
~Wish me Luck~
