Tyler Reks had a unique idea that never made it to TV - he and his fellow underutilized talents would be a faction of P.O.H. - Prisoners of Hunter (Triple H).
Tyler Reks Rants on Twitter, Lashing Out on John Cena! Please bear with me as this is going to be quite long. I'm basically analyzing and reacting to his rants.
Actually, it wasn't just about Cena, he also talked about Randy, Riley, Big Show, and many more. But the most interesting one is about Cena.
"Anyone want to know what top guy forced me to stop using the burning hammer - even after it appeared on SD/RAW and PPV's?"
"1st house show loop, Cena asks pulls me aside, degrades me like I'm 10 years & tells me if I use it again I'd me fired."
"He yelled at me & said, "Who gave u permission to use that"? Apparently he hadn't been watching the product 4 the last 8 months."
Dude's been on his bus for years, decides to come to the locker room & starts yelling at everyone to take their bags to their cars..."
"All because a new WHC was putting on his boots on the floor. He ALWAYS puts his boots on on the floor."
i have to admit, for me, what he said about Cena is so hard to believe. i read a comment regarding this issue on bleacherreport.com saying,
People want to believe Reks because apparently he has no reason to lie, but on the other side of that coin, Cena had no reason to be concerned about Tyler Rek's finisher. Lord knows he was never going to get THAT big, regardless of his finisher.
I'm sorry, but I can't get behind this story, and as for the other tory that appears to be about Big Show, I see no reason to take his word.
Seems more like someone wanted five minutes of fame.
Well, I agree with the above comment. Why would Cena care about Tyler Reks' finisher? Heck, why would Cena care about Tyler Reks? Given John Cena's position in the WWE. Sure, there are A LOT of finishers there that are much much much better than Cena's FU/AA. If he's insecure, then he'd be insecure with those guys of his level with much better wrestling skills than him (Randy Orton, CM Punk, and etc). Insecure of Tyler Reks? I doubt that. And there are so many finishers that are somehow similar to AA, finishers that are more visible on TV than his Burning Hammer! True, and I absolutely agree, Cena is not the best wrestler in the WWE. But his position as the top dog of the company is too strong, he's earning millions, and I bet he'll stay as the face of company for the couple more years to come. So let's erase the "insecure" part. Coz there's no point for John Cena to get insecure of Tyler Reks. And did I forgot to mention? Tyler Reks was hashtagging himself, by the way. LOL!
Tyler also said that Cena is holding great talents down like Alex Riley. If Cena wanted the spotlight alone, every Monday Night Raw would end with John Cena on our tv screens. But no, Cena is actually, or shall I say, moving from the main event scene towards the middle part, coz apparently, he's giving others a chance. If he's that greedy of being the top guy, would he allow Ryback to end the show? See, it's baseless. If Cena didn't want to move and give others a chance, he would have stayed at the main event scene. He would have insisted to end every Raw. He's dragging down other superstars, then he wouldn't have endorsed Zack Ryder!
Think about it! Of course, Cena must be well-aware of his status as the top guy, if he wants all the attention, he would have taken advantage of his position as the top dog, coz no matter what, WWE can't fire him. At this point, without John Cena, WWE would definitely hit rock bottom! He's freakin' untouchable, so why not use his power? But no, Cena, as we can see, is not closing almost every show. He graciously moved for the other guys.
I'm sure a lot of WWE superstars are mad or have some hidden grudges against John Cena. He's the top dog. He's not the best wrestler but he's the face of the world's biggest wrestling company. Of course, many superstars would hate him.
Perhaps, Tyler Reks is mad that he didn't reach that far in the WWE. Yes, he's talented. But WWE is business. Who's drawing more money will be pushed forward. No matter how great of a talent you are, but you're not that click to the crowd, then you got nowhere to go. Harsh, yes. But that's how it is. That's business. We're not just talking about millions here, we're talking about billions! John Cena worked his damn hardest to get to where he is now. John Cena is good for WWE's business, that's why they kept pushing him to the top. Lucky enough, John Cena draws so much attention, that's also a major factor he is in his position right now. And Tyler Reks, unfortunately, didn't draw that much. Well, to tell you frankly, with John Cena around, it's definitely hard to make it to the top. Coz, let's face it, love him or hate him, John Cena carries WWE. And I know this is debatable, but John Cena IS WWE.
So with all these twitter rants from Tyler Reks, let's not jump into conclusions, let's listen to the other side of the story. Because we're not there when it all happened, in the first place.
(the only thing that I like about his twitter rant was he praised Randy Orton.)
UPDATE: Ken Doane who also lashed out on Cena few months ago, is supporting Tyler Reks. He tweeted,
“Uh oh! @GabeTuft spoke truth, now cenation gonna cry lol,” wrote Doane.
“@GabeTuft was a threat [to Cena], he looks impressive and has talent.
My reaction: Really? Really? Really? A threat? How is he a threat to John Cena? Because of that Burning Hammer that's rarely seen on TV? Puh-leaaase! John Cena clearly knows how stable his position is in the WWE, and to mind something like that is just a waste of time. I would probably believe Doane if Reks was on top of the game and was a main eventer. Cena would definitely feel insecure. But, unfortunately, no. Reks didn't reach the top, which is sad for a great talent. Tsk tsk tsk. Just put it this way, if you're is on top, A LOT of people will try to bring you down.
No need to explain this, right?
Gabe Tuft is dishing dirt on Twitter.
And it's kind of the asshole-ish stuff I would expect from John Cena. Plot Twist: This is the start of a feud to anticipate Reks' return.
