How would the ro’s help a Gabriel who is used to being very fluid in how they would present themselves in their real angel form but feel very constrained/uncomfortable while inside their shell which is very limited?

This is something I intend to address in game. Of course, Gabriel can’t come out and explain that they’re accustomed to being able to change their body around to their whims, but a sense of dysphoria is something your coworkers especially will try to help deal with. Stephanie can make minor illusion charms for you, and the others are happy to help you pic out clothes and things like binders or other equipment to help you feel as comfortable as possible in your skin. Since I plan on addressing it in game I’m not going to go too into detail now; just know that your ROs want you to feel as good as you can.

Not sure if you answered this, but will we get the opportunity to keep the human shell’s name as Gabriel/Gabe/Gabby?

You sure can! It’ll be commented on if you do–Gabe, Gabriel, Gabrielle, Gabby, Gabriella, or Gabbi will all trigger a comment (as do most of the default ones… and a few easter eggs besides!)

If too spoilery feel free to ignore, but I was wondering if, when Gabriel sees and recognize Ramiel, would they have the option to not outright call him out and keep him in the dark about their identity? Just interact with him without him realising the nestmate he is looking for is right under his nose?

You can certainly do so. The problem is he knows that your cover is a police officer, and that limits the possibilities of who he could be looking for. It’s pretty easy to pick out the werewolf, the witch, and given that both Iain and Alice have ties have familial ties in the city, that removes them. Major Crimes is where your talents would be best suited, and despite everything, he remembers the cadence of your voice, the inflection of your words, the way you move. Of course, if you don’t want to reveal yourself to him, who is he to call you out? So from your perspective, it may appear that he doesn’t recognize you.

Will Gab's shell age like a normal human body?

Nope. Shells age slower, and are more resilient. Of course, humans don’t all age the same, and you aren’t supposed to be sticking around long enough for it to become an issue.

Will Gab/Gabby tell ROs they're not human or will they find out some other way?

To sum up: Once you fuse with your shell, there is no hiding so everyone will know. Your actions will dictate if someone finds out other ways, and you will have an option to tell people... though when and how is also up to you. Also realize that telling some characters may cause other to know/effect your relationships. For instance, telling anyone what you are will negatively impact your relationship with Sabriel, and she will know. You will not be able to tell people right away as Manuel has too much control, but later on you can when you have spent more time in the shell.

I guess Sabriel won't be mad about the whole shell-fusing since it wasn't Gabe's fault? Could I return in to her in "near mint condition" even after that haha

Well, technically the shell-fusing is Gabriel’s fault because they used too much power in the shell… but if she’s close to you she’s much more concerned about you at this point and the paperwork can rot because you all have bigger things to deal with. And you can’t exactly return it at all then.

How often will Gab shed their shell to show they're true form?

In theory, never. The whole point of the shell is to go unnoticed. Leaving your shell leaves it vulnerable to possession from another source, and makes you a beacon saying ‘here I am!’

Since a Gabriel in the shell can have children with Ramiel/Aelius, I assume the same applies to the angel ROs? How would a romanced Michael react to a pregnant Gabe? Like, it's THEIR child, they are going to be parents! But on the other hand, the child is (going to be) a nephilim, and an archangel's duty demands that all nephilims are to be destroyed. ((pls drown me in angst))

Yes, technically (pre-merge, anyways).

Sabriel and Michael wouldn’t. It’s not just a question of them being children–they are insane monstrosities who can and will kill Gabriel or their other parent without any thought. There would be no joy in either of them, only horror. Nephilim have to be destroyed. It’s not about want. ((From their perspectives, which may or may not be flawed.)) Furthermore, it’s likely that the pregnancy alone would kill Gabriel. If it somehow did happen, Michael and Sabriel would destroy them, quietly, and if necessary, without Gabriel’s permission.
