Golden Dragonpunk Gang leader. They call him Ha'sahmu, which is short for ha'sahmu vu citi. It's a phrase in Subterranean that means "The devil will prosper," spoken as a warning to those who live life loosely with little regard for rules or moderation. -cc

An associate of the Golden Jaguar Gang (Jags), Shii'na manages to be as much trouble as she is worth it to keep around. She's hardly loyal and rarely receptive, but when she decides to step up and add to the conversation, her intel has made the ascension of half the Jags smoother than most. She is one of the few Terrans who can pass freely between the surface and the undercrust. But strangest of all, it's rumored she was born mid-atmosphere; possibly even the daughter of a known Elite…

The Golden Jaguar Gang (the Jags)

When the Golden Dragonpunks Gang ascended to mid-atmosphere to push their substances to the upper-class electro-junkies (see previous post), the Jags went terrestrial, leveling up their operations from Subterra. Unlike their high-strung counterparts, the Jags are more known for their strategy and wits (as opposed to brutality). These girls were who got the Dragonpunks their position in the clouds in the first place byway of information trade, not only making room for themselves above ground by removing the GDGs, but simultaneously (and quietly) positioning their gang at the epicenter of every Subterra-to-Terra ascension. You want out of the underground, you talk to one of these seven women...and they talk to their pack leader. -cc

The Golden Jaguar Gang pack leader: Juin'za Fuu'sa, (Juin'fu for short). Her name means Poisonous Truth in Subterra. The youngest and least vicious of her pack, she was not made leader simply to protect her apparent frailty -- she was the most intelligent Subterranean born under Terra in generations...until her recent "death." She had been friends with the former pack leader as children and upon discovering her friends identity as Queen Jag, she organized the staging of her own death to remove herself from the system, and negotiated her place as pack leader while the Queen still holds her public title as such. Juin'fu leads from the cover of the trees; only Queen Jag knows her true identity. -cc (See previous post -> The Golden Jaguar Gang)

Henry doesn't get to fight vampires with sun-blessed whips and solarpunk gadgets. But when the night falls and the forces of darkness start to get a bit too bold, Henry comes down with his trusty revolver and a fistful of silver bullets.

When designing this outfit, I was struggling to figure out how to dress him. But leaned into the gadgetpunk/y2k fashion aesthetic and I think I cooked up something that looks neat. Though maybe I should've ripped his jeans or something. Or maybe added some wrist-moutned devices.

But, oh well.

The Ecto Scanner

Vampires and their undead minions give off a lingering energy called 'Ectoplasm' - shortened to 'Ecto'. Thus, the Ecto Scanner was designed to track this energy. Naturally, lesser undead minions like Zombies give off small traces of Ecto. But Vampires give off large quantities of Ecto - being walking factories of Ectoplasm. The Ecto Scanner is a helpful tool in Jango's arsenal, tracking down Vampires in their maze-like manors.

Jango: ...She's right behind me, isn't she?

This pic was HEAVILY inspired by the Boktai series - which is super fun and you should go and play. They're a bitch to emulate, but I love their themes and the ideas they present. It's a shame they've mostly been forgotten - especially when they had such a cool gimmick.
