Yet another AU Tenna. This is probably the third Tenna I’ve come up with AU wise XD

Gosh, am I gonna have a lot of fun with this!

Tenna’s design is highly inspired by the Galactic Jungle village (the jungle part) from Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. The space part of the village, I have other plans for. TV Jungle is a BIG area all its own though.

I’ve wanted to make a crossover AU with Drawn to Life for years as it was a huge part of my childhood and to this day I still absolutely love the first two games! Might try to play them again soon for nostalgia purposes.

More to come for this AU concept soon! (Also keep an eye out for the next update to Deltarune: A World Between Light and Dark! I have quite a few pages planned out!)

In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, the villagers of Galactic Jungle all have Hawaiian names, with the exception of Click. All of the following information has been sourced from Wiktionary or Wikipedia. From left to right in the above image:

Moani - From moani (“fragrant breeze”)

Hoaka - From hōʻaka ("to laugh")

Iolani - From 'io lani ("royal hawk")

Akamu - From ʻAkamu ("Adam")

Kamalah - From Kamala (either "Tamara" or "the aching")

Kaihe - ...

Kaihe's name is a bit harder (for me) to research, as neither the English Wiktionary nor the English Wikipedia have any usages of "Kaihe". When turning towards Hawaiian dictionaries - the Hawaiian Dictionary by Pukui and Elbert and the Māmaka Kaiao, neither of them have entries for "kaihe" either.

When using Wiktionary's list of all Hawaiian lemmas, "kai", "he", and "hē" all have entries, listed here:

Most likely, Kaihe is from kai hē ("sea grave"), though the true intention of 5th Cell is unknown.

Baki U.F.O.'s are a Baki variant first found in the Galactic Jungle.

When these Baki spot The Hero, they pause for a moment, then squint their eyes and charge across the screen at The Hero before disappearing off screen.

Baki U.F.O.'s are one of the few Baki variants to have tan colored fur. They are also the only Baki to have an antenna directly on top of their head rather than on their space helmet.
