Have you ever expressed interest in the computers/electronics of the former Communist block in Europe? I've rarely seen anyone talk about them, and i wish they were talked about more.

Not really. They're known for being exceptionally janky, and mostly clones of existing machines made to better quality control standards. They've never really done it for me.

There is however one exception:

I've got a modern replica Galaksija which is a kit that originally hails from Yugoslavia. I need to debug this thing more at some point. It's either my clock circuit or my SRAMs, the latter of which I FINALLY have a faster 2K chip to try out.

'Galaksija'' (Galaxy) was a science/science fiction magazine that was published in Yugoslavia from 1972 to the 1990s. Like many magazines of this genre, they often re-used artwork. This was the original cover for A. E. Von Vogt's ''Quest for the future'' from 1972.
