I haven’t really payed much attention to wave 1 of the starter collection stuff bc Gens 1 and 4 don’t interest me (I’m talking about the starter trios. Let’s Go! Eevee is underrated. I do wish it had cross-gen evos and a better postgame though) and Gen 7 is the only modern generation (ignoring Gen 10) where the starters aren’t in some way my favourite (Gen 6 is my favourite trio, Gen 8 has the best balance while still all being great and Paldea has my top two favourite starters. The Alola trio’s great too) but this is a wave I might go for (except it’ll all be scalped to oblivion. Probably the least scalpable of the three waves though bc it doesn’t have Gen 1 or Froakie which is something) because I love the Galar trio and there’s something increasingly oddly satisfying about Gens 2 and 5 being paired together (plus after the Totodile and Tepig lines grew on me I don’t dislike any of their unevolved forms) thank you SV and Z-A (SV did most of the work to be fair *shot of the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords chilling together* now given you’re almost certainly scrapping the Legends Galar game can we get Johto and Unova remakes in Gen 10?) and also I didn’t realise their attacks were all taken from the core series in this series
