                he usually tries to be a bit more  eloquent  but there was no hope of that now !  how is one supposed to think when possibly the most enchanting being was standing right there ?  how could he be expected to ignore skin scarred by the cosmos themselves  &&. clear eyes that were so dastardly bewitching ?  it was  UNFAIR,  really,  to put him in such a spot so as to have to gather his wits enough to speak to her.  he couldn’t even bother to ask if she was part of the crystal gems or what.  he was simply far too near speechlessness to ask.

                           ❝   i'm  sorry.   i just .....    FEEL   like  something ...    something                      terrible ...   ❞    breath  caught  in  her  lungs ;   how  could  she   SPEAK   words  of  truth  with   TERROR   stuck  like  shards  of  glass  in  her  throat,   tearing  the  honesty  from  her  very  words ?    nervous  fingers  tipped  the  glasses  that  slid  down  the  bridge  of  her  nose  before  wrapping   --   safe  in  the   TANGLE   of  her  own  limbs   --   around  her  chest  as  though  she  could  stifle  the  pain  physically,   as  though  she  could  hold  that   MONSTER   in  that  had  made  its  home  beneath  her  skin.
