Watched episode 7 of Zexal subbed and ohhhh
The TV show end of episode line going "Robin is Forever" fills me with so much dread.
Fuya doesn't want to play as Robin, he just wants to be himself but the image from the show's success haunts him everywhere. It's going to be the final battle in the show, but they give off the idea just from the episode title that it's never going to be the end for him. Forever!
There's a sense of horror to how the show could end and no longer have any new episodes but this serves as a reminder to him and the audience that his image can be eternal. I like how the lines in the TV at the start are symbolic of the situation between Fuya and his mother while also having a parallel to Yuma's Mom being missing.
And the Galaxy Queen also being ESPer Robin's mother who casts a curse on him. The curse controlling not only him but extending to his companions/rest of his family reflecting Fuya and how his mother tried to control his surroundings like how she pushed Yuma out and prevented him and Fuya from having a duel together.
I think its cool how the show managed to imply all these aspects in just a few scenes and lines. The way the TV Show's story line ties to Fuya, Mrs Okudaira, and not only Astral with its setting of taking place in another world. But leaves room for Yuma too is very well done.
