Another couple of photoshoots : ) These are addictive to do. I'd love to know the official height of Cripps because he's taller than Dutch. But he was trained to be an acrobat in Portugal! And I just realized I rarely dress him up, I generally put him in his bandana outfit bc of his work trading and bounty hunting. Or that red vest and cap combo for collecting/moonshining. He's my personal Barbie doll that I show off to the other kids :)
Among Us Fandom Notes + Undertale Spinoff
I found the game everyone’s talking about and I can just say I love jackbox TV as much as this. Party multiplayer games are fun I downloaded the app. Haven’t played it yet so I’m watching Dream Team play it.
It’s possible there will be roleplaying for this game because it’s a group of crewmates and Imposter(s) (only one unless customized by host) in space. It’s from the same creator of Henry Stickmin, so we just got Among Distractus.
Another is crossovers. Undertale is most likely to fuse with this game as a genocide route spin-off. A group of Monsters, One Human. Monsters get to host aggressive royal guard meetings to Discuss who is the Human. Human has to stab Monsters behind their back for LV to sabotage puzzles and traps you’ve recently completed. UnderNet is used to openly share information who could be controlling as Human. The game on the Surface then gets taken down due to racial offense against Humans, from Monsters thinking they are still savages after the Human saved everyone, but that’s only if they take that seriously. This is a game that can start another war between these two races.
Just a brief reminder:
Part of the reason Minoru Kidooka said he wants to wait for Daisuke Ishiwatari to complete GG’s story before considering a crossover is because he respects artistic authorial intent.
It’s like waiting for a painting to be finished before working on something else related to the painting.
Or expressing a message without adding extra noise or going off topic.
Even if money and executive power afforded them the ability to retcon anything and everything in Daisuke’s works, it’s because Kidooka values those works that he lets Daisuke do what he can to the extent THAT he can.
Unlike other game companies that have a history of breaking their relationships off with creative game developers once the cash rolls in, ARC System Works has established a history of exactly the opposite: valuing talent and using it and allowing it to grow and finish what it started to create.
I don’t want to make Kidooka sound like an angel from heaven here, but he values talent for it’s potential and made an investment on that potential. Certainly there have been mistakes now and then as history shows, but so far in the long run games like GG have been successful because artists like Ishiwatari can express themselves with freedom to do so.
So next time there’s discussion about game crossovers, consider the intent of the game authors and what they really wanted when they made their respective games.

Crossover pairings?
How do people generally feel about shippings created from two different universes?
I’ve often pondered about this as a child, back when I was more ‘with’ the gaming community overall xD
For example, I have this old, old, OLD fanfic from when I was like 13. It’s about Coco Bandicoot (from the Crash games) meeting and falling in love with Spyro (from the eponymous Spyro games xD ). I honestly don’t remember where I was going with it, let alone HOW the two worlds collide, but... I always thought that they would be so cute together hehe. Even though they are technically different ‘races’. But come on, what’s wrong with that! xD
I’ve been so far away from both fandoms forever, but recently as I pondered my SF shippings, my mind drifted back to the time when I was following other games too.
My other crossover ships (for the hell of it):
Kyo (from King of Fighters) x Sakura (from Street Fighter) !
Or Sakura x Terry Bogard (from Fatal Fury) !
Zero (from Megaman X series) x Roll (from Megaman Classic games) !
Hm. That last one counts too, right? Even if they are from “adjacent” universes haha.
Sigh. I feel like nobody will ever understand these pairings (which is understandable, as crossover pairings are the most niche of all niche shippings lol).
