'World of Dragon Warrior: Torneko - The Last Hope'
[PS1] [USA] [MAGAZINE] [2000]
"If you don't follow game sale in Japan, Torneko was big… we're talking 600,000 copies big. Or perhaps you've heard of Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon 1 & 2 (which were inspired by Torneko). Those games together sold over a million copies in Japan. So though you may have never heard of this game, it's got quite a history in Japan.
#001 - Anna
We're starting off strong with a personal pick of mine! I can't think of anyone more fitting than Anna to represent the Fire Emblem series as a whole! About half the time, she and her sisters have found a love for selling rare equipment and items, while the other half is spent helping you in other ways, be those in combat or by helping you save your game amid battle!
This Anna in particular finds interest in neither and has joined me here to present information about our contestants to come! She'll also be our tag directory going forward!
I really loved the way the NES and The Blade of Light used such a limited palette for their sprites, and I decided to try out the style myself! It was a success in my eyes!
A long, long, long time ago, when I would have enthusiastically advocated for a long-form high-budget Harry Potter television remake, one of the main things I dreamed of was an adaptation that would finally get the worldbuilding right.
In other words, that it is a world where wizards wear robes, not trousers and ties and collared shirts.
Now the monkey's paw has curled and we are indeed getting a Harry Potter remake (derogatory), mostly as a funding operation for JK Rowling's anti-trans efforts, and...
...THEY'RE STILL WEARING TIES AND COLLARED SHIRTS???
?????
IANTO JONES ⍉ 1.04 "CYBERWOMAN"
strange how the duffers made Jonathan make a film about anti-consumerism and yet they are actively contributing to consumerism. setting up the end of their show for more spinoffs for more money.
Shakespeare characters who deserve their own spinoffs
The Tempest: Caliban and co. The trio's antics when I first watched the play were the most enjoyable part of the show and reminded me a lot of Team Rocket from Pokemon.
The Two Gentlemen of Verona: Lance and Crab Honestly we need a whole play of his monologues and Crab just silently listening in awe
The Merry Wives of Windsor: Frank Ford His antics combined with his challenged masculinity makes this an interesting plot
Measure for Measure: Mistress Overdone We sure do love ourselves a perky punky sexually free woman, don't we
Much Ado About Nothing: Dogberry Dumb comic sidekick. Nuff said.
All's Well That Ends Well: Paroles I actually wrote a fanfic of him on Wattpad and it is very old and very bad and you are abolutely not allowed to read it.
Twelfth Night: Sir Andrew Aguecheek My high school's version had him played by one of my best friends, who is a trans woman and I would love to see where the transfem interpretation goes.
The Winter's Tale: Time: My first role! The sheer idea of a character that is literally an incoprehensable idea just makes for some wild possibilities.
Richard II: Aumerle He's such a cinnamon roll and so loyal to Richard. And the version I saw in London had a nonbinary actor playing the role and I love that take
Henry IV: Francis My second role! He just goes anon-anon and it's so sweet
Henry V: The French Loved playing one of them and it's good to see the villain's side of the story. Plus they're funny
Henry VI: Jack Cade A story of a rebel band is what we need right now
Titus Andronicus: Chiron and Demitrius Creepy evil twins make good protagonists
Romeo and Juliet: Mercutio He's got that rizz perfect for a protagonist
Macbeth: Donalbain What the heck was he doing in ireland?
Hamlet: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern: This is the idea that inspired this post in the first place and the only characters which have their own spinoff as of late
King Lear: Oswald One of my favorite roles! I got to show my true evil side and delve deep on why he does the things he does. I also headconon him as being really edgy evolving from a cinnamon roll
Othello: Ludovico Poor guy just wants to keep the peace but cirumstances out of his control ruin his life!
Antony and Cleopatra: Pompey Like I said before, funny braggarts always make good sidekicks.
