yes this exactly. otherwise you just do it forever
Exactly! And when you’ve accomplished all of them, it looks like you won and you walk through a glowing door of light...
Right back into the first trial :| :| :|
Unless you not only beat them, but did it in a way that unlocked the Secret True Ending! Which is just having to play, like, the longest, most boring, and most brutal game of Risk(or Clue? some super boring game that takes forever), or something, with Hades. Just something super mundane and soul-crushing, that the Hades AI is actually really super good at, but plays in a really annoying way(like taking forever to move, or moving a piece but not letting go of it, then putting it back, then moving it somewhere else, then moving it back, etc) while simultaneously doing really annoying things(like talking about accounting, or the subtleties of Underworld paperwork and filing, or humming popular songs just slightly off key, or just humming the chorus to a popular song over and over and over again). Perhaps there would be an exploit you could find to get around this.
Perhaps there wouldn’t.
I’m looking for someone who can give me some very blunt opinions on my game ideas. So far, everyone I’ve talked to about them is a friend, and therefore somewhat invested in making sure I’m happy. I’d like some more blunt opinions.
Message me, send me an Ask, or contact me in almost any other way if you’d be interested in discussing several currently very fictional videogame and tabletop game concepts.
Game Pitches
Okay, so I'm taking Game Theory this quarter, and it focuses on designing games. Our first assignment was to create three pitches for games based on licenses or franchises which are not game based. I've put together pitches for a My Little Pony First Person Shooter, a Doctor Who Real Time Strategy game, and an adventure game based on the Keys to the Kingdom series of books by Garth Nix. Pitches below the readmore.
Spoilers for Doctor Who.
