Somewhere in the eddies of time and space, lies a strange forgotten land. A rare place in the modern world where it was located where monsters and gods alike could roam freely. Where the legends of old still lived on in it's vast landscape. Was it a refugee then, or a prison?
Such questions could be asked. But the first one that should be, is 'Where am I'? Especially to the unfamiliar person that has just opened their eyes. A quick look around easily reveals their new location in the middle of a wilderness, close by to a great set of trees to their back. However, past the bushes and trees in front of them appears to be what looks like a stone road cutting through the wilderness they have found themselves in.
Now with some knowledge, and likely far from home, the next question should be obvious. What will they do with said immediate knowledge? @archivisim

You are one of the many transfer students from another academy, recommended to this school by the professors from Akuneko Academy
They gave you an invitation to their school and you accepted
Next week is your first day as a student at Akuneko Academy
As no one you know goes to the academy, you're willing to take a fresh start in life!
With both excitement and nervousness filling your veins, you hope you'll do well in the new environment.
Who knows? You might be able to make friends along the way. Perhaps finding someone more than a friend. A best friend! :D
With your belongings in your hand, you walk through the school gates, excitement increasing with each step.
[???]: "Oh yes, you must be one of the new students correct?"
A faculty member greets you and offers a smile. The name tag on his suit displays the words "Mr. Authur. Head of History".
[Mr. Arthur]: "I'm here to escort you to your dorm. Your name is...?"

[Mr. Authur]: "Ah yes, [Name]. Welcome to Akuneko Academy! Please, follow me I will take you to the dorm buildings"
You follow Mr Authur.
There were multiple dorm buildings, each containing about 13-16 students. The faculty member led you to the dorm building which is much smaller but looked much newer than the others.
The building had a sign that said “New dorms for transfer students”
[Mr Authur]: Your dorm will be here! Your 3 other dorm members will arrive soon. If you need any help, be sure to stop by my office. It's in the Social Science building. Have a nice time at Akuneko Academy!
Mr Authur gives you a smile and leaves the dorm building.

The room looks blank right now. But maybe you could buy some decorations for it.
You unpack your belongings and lie down on the bed
It's mid-day so the students still have classes. You are free to do anything until Monday next week
