Lamlameta is a traditional board game played by the Konso people in southern Ethiopia. It shares similarities with games like Gebeta and Mancala, where players “sow” seeds in pits on a board. The board, called “toma tagega,” has two rows of twelve pits, known as “awa.” Each pit begins with two seeds (“tagega”).
