My university is raising money for Special Effect by playing dnd for 24hrs. Seven of us (a DM and six players) will continuously play a game of dnd for 24 hours live on twitch from 5pm today (UK time) right through until 5pm tomorrow. Your donations go to Special Effect, a UK charity that makes and modifies video game controllers for people living with physical disabilities. For adults and kids alike, making video games more accessible allows them to be included in the fun that physically able people take for granted, and moving testimonies from the charity show how much it means to these people to have an activity they can participate in with family and friends. Your donations also impact the game! £5 lets you have sway over the playable characters, choosing backstory information, accents, or making us speak only in Beatles lyrics - your imagination is the only limit (at the DM's discretion as per). Additionally certain size donations can summon magical items, monsters ,and more. Thank you very much for your consideration towards our cause 😊 ~ J

Ryan is raising money to help SpecialEffect

Hey everyone! SpecialEffect has been an organization close to my heart for a while, and every year I’ve seen Gameblast going on so I’ve decided to step my toe into it this year. My guild and I are looking to raise at least $100 USD for Special Effects, some of us may be streaming as well tonight and tomorrow as we attempt to do hit this goal.

Special Effects is a charity that can definitely use every last cent, so I highly recommend donating, or finding your own favorite streamer or group (like Jagex - the devs of Runescape) who are doing Gameblast stuff this year and donate to them. As far as I know, 100% of the money donated goes to Gameblast.
