Fundraiser Stream!
My boyfriend is currently doing a fundraiser stream for SpecialEffect, a UK-based charity that's levelling the playing field for gamers with physical disabilities around the world.
They hit 25% of their goal, so tonight they are starting Pokemon Yellow and releasing their Starter Pikachu! For every £10 donation to SpecialEffect they will also release a pokemon! Game/art giveaways and more!
Please consider checking the stream out, and donating if you are able. If not, that's okay, sharing this post and watching the stream helps out a lot!

Help Team WeirdBlast '21 raise money to support SpecialEffect
My very good friends WeirdFTW, Richaado, Ebak and Scarfhulu are ganging together to raise £1,000 (and beyond) for Special Effect, and they’re already past halfway and Gameblast hasn’t even begun!
If you’ve got the spare cash, please hurl it their way - if not, that’s perfectly fine, just please share it around!
Join them live on Twitch. (Posted 2/21/2020)
“We'll be live for the next 24 hours, with fun-filled antics in Jurassic World Evolution, Elite Dangerous, Planet Zoo, and Planet Coaster. We’re doing all of this to raise money, support, and awareness for SpecialEffect. They are an amazing charity who transform the lives of gamers with physical disabilities by creating new ways for them to play the games they love. You can donate on our Just Giving page here.”

Y'all, GameBlast is sooooooo close!! If this is your first GameBlast with us get ready to have one hell of a wacky weekend! We're doing silly things (like wearing our dresses from prom at $500 and either dancing or playing Twister 😱 in them at $1000!)
If you're unfamiliar, GameBlast is a yearly fundraiser for Special Effect, a charity in the UK that works to make games accessible to as many people as possible completely free of charge! They rely on donations to continue doing their incredible work (like helping design and test Microsoft's Adaptive Controller.)
Please tell your friends, your family, your enemies and everyone in between! Let's make this the biggest GameBlast yet! ✨
I designed a shirt for the UKSM Gaming speedrunning event going on this weekend. (Middle one!) ^w^ It's live on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/uksmlive The charity is SpecialEffect :) If you want to donate directly to UKSM, here's the link! https://uksmlive.com/donate/uksm18 If you want to buy my cool shirt here is the link: https://store.uksmlive.com/index.php/product/unisex-uksm-power-up-shirt/ ALL profits got to Special Effect. I donated my time to design the shirt and I’m really happy to support a caring cause. Special Effect is a gaming based charity that brings technology to help children with disabilities play the games they love. Please check it out ^^ Thank you!
Xbox Introduces the Xbox Adaptive Controller
In an effort to help make gaming available to everyone, Microsoft teamed up with various partners like The AbleGamers Charity, The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Craig Hospital, SpecialEffect, and Warfighter Engaged to create the Xbox Adaptive Controller for Xbox One and Windows 10. Xbox also worked with third-party manufacturers to support external inputs to be used with the new controller.
For another look at how the controller works check out Xbox’s other video.
The Xbox Adaptive Controller will run $99.99 USD and consumers will also need to purchase the other external devices.
