My hottest commerce take is that we need a crowdfunding site that does not allow you to offer the project itself as a "reward". That makes it clear that you are funding a project, not pre-ordering a product.
If a crowd funded project is not allowed to fail without threats of legal action then it was never about funding the project. It's just a store.
We need a real crowdfunding site divorced from the assumption of purchase.

It's time to claim your ship and explore the stars. Heliosail is funding from TODAY (10/14/25) through November 13th. If this is your first time hearing about the game, welcome! Heliosail is a solarpunk, sci-fi adventure rpg about becoming a crew of space pirates. It is meant for long campaigns, like D&D or Pathfinder.
Heliosail runs on an original rule set, using 8-sided dice. Skills level up independently of each other, and each time you get a critical success in a skill, you also get a new unique ability.
What People Are Saying
“Heliosail scratches an itch I didn't even realize I had - a hopeful vision of a future, populated by a fantastically diverse cast of characters. Quinn and the team have given the TTRPG community a gorgeous labor of love that I cannot wait to bring to my tables and dive into.”
- Colin Epstein, The Roll Report
"Heliosail invites you to chase the horizon, following the brightest light there is among the stars. Hope. And if you’ve ever dreamed of going to infinity and beyond, this is it. This is the beyond."
- Dean Gkane, OneShot TPK
"Overflowing with charm and panache. Heliosail captures the dream of a future whose beauty and wonder will surprise you."
- Michael Bilker, writer for Dystopia Rising Colorado
Rewards
In addition to books, the campaign is debuting with a brand new adventure themed for the Halloween season; Curse of the S.W.S. Serenity. This spooky four hour experience is a perfect one-shot or side quest to drop into your ongoing games, and will feature a detailed game map by the talented Zach Moeller.
The campaign also features a “Starter Kit” bundle that comes with everything you need to play. Not only will you be receiving the physical book, but also a set of 8-sided dice, a pack of character sheets that includes some pre-made characters to get you started, and the two pre-written adventures to play through.
Limited physical editions for RPGmaker horror game 'Rosa + Juliet'
Rosa ✞ Juliet is an upcoming dark and grotesque RPGMaker horror game about exploring both the abandoned and twisted “Sohenwicht University,” and the relationship with your often malicious co-conspirator Juliet.
Inspired by classic RPGMaker horror games like ‘Ib,’ ‘Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea,’ ‘Mad Father,’ and the more recent ‘Fear&Hunger,’ danger lurks everywhere throughout Sohenwicht University. Escape from monsters, traps and other hazards - with gruesome consequences if you fail.
Traverse parallel universes, turn back time and set up stable time-loops to solve puzzles and duplicate items. Different choices lead to different outcomes across different timelines.
Instead of choosing dialogue options directly, you’re responsible for managing the emotional state of the protagonist- steering her responses indirectly. Instead of traditional combat, boss fights are entirely dialogue based and one mistake too many can send Rosa barreling down the path to a Bad End at the hands of her bestie.
There are hundreds of different dialogue options across multiple playthroughs and a nonlinear approach to exploring the environment, leading to a variety of endings- as well as a variety of horrific game over states.
Purchasing the physical edition of the game comes with a variety of unique rewards, like:
- A post card!
- A booklet with artwork, behind-the-scenes information, hints, tips, and secrets!
- A physical CD containing a DRM-free version of the game, as well as a folder with game assets including a license to use the game's assets, setting, lore, characters and likenesses for any project of your own, including commercial projects.
And of course, a Steam key to activate the game on Steam.
Rosa ✞ Juliet is slated to release on Steam around January 2026!

TRUMP CARD is a game of planning, lying, and claiming to have the Most Superlative Card such as the Tallest Building, Greatest Golden Commod
WHAT IS THIS GAME?
Trump Card is the game of "Lying Liars and the Lies they Lie About." It's for 3-6 players, each game takes 10-15 minutes, and whoever has the most points wins. If you want to play longer, you can play until someone hits 20 points, rather than after 1 game.
How Does It Play?
The Trump Card deck has 4 suits of Superlative Cards (Commodes, Rallies, Towers, and Walls), each of which has a numerical value (one its value within that suit, one its value in any other suit) and a list of superlatives (Biggest, Shiniest, Tallest, Most Valuable, and so on). Each round, a player claims to have the highest-valued card of a given suit, and everyone follows suit claiming THEY actually have the most valuable card.
WHO MADE THIS?
The creator of the game is RPG "The Gamefather" Owen KC Stephens, who has worked on such games as Star Wars d20, Starfinder, Pathfinder, Dungeons & Dragons, and numerous others.
