Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's #Gamereview Day and this time I am covering a mobile game #AltosOdyssey PLOT: well.... It's alto and his mates, surfing? Okay fine not much narrative in this game BUT: Initial release date: 22 February 2018 Platforms: Android, iOS, tvOS Publishers: Noodlecake Studios Inc., Snowman Androidguys: 4.1/5 Metacritic: 88% . My Review: 9/10 What I disliked: Sometimes the inputs don't register properly but there is a good chance that it's my phone's fault. Also it takes to level 10 before the game's fun starts. What I liked: The game play is very smooth and calming, the art and music go so hand to hand that it's just a go-to app for me to relax. The free roam mood is just the cherry on top. In terms of Game design, it's so well done, the more you play the more new "places" you discover and that just adds to the experiment. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's #GamesReview day and today I am covering #LifeisStrange Before I go to the review, I am thinking of doing a game play at uni when I am free, streaming it live, if you are interested in that, do let me know ^_^ Life Is Strange is an episodic graphic adventure video game developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Android. The game was released in five episodes periodically throughout 2015. The game's plot focuses on Max Caulfield, an 18-year-old photography student who discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any moment, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect. After having foreseen an approaching storm, Max must take on the responsibility to prevent it from destroying her town. The player's actions will adjust the narrative as it unfolds, and reshape it once allowed to travel back in time. Fetch quests and making environmental changes represent the forms of puzzle solving in addition to using branching choices for conversation. Gameplay is mostly dependant on how you want the narration go, so it was nice, tho sometimes it be hard to control the choosing bits. The plot is the strongest point of the game, well done and well metaphors used. The game and character design? Well... It's Unreal Engine 3 and Unreal makes everything shiny, so at some points and some views it's abseloutly beautiful... at other points... It's just fake imo But it's a must play game, just some bits don't make sense, at certain moments during the game you can't do XYZ, and it's never explained why. This time it's a board game ish, #thewitcheradventuregame The Witcher Adventure Game is a board game set in the universe of The Witcher. A tabletop version was created by CD Projekt Red and Fantasy Flight Games. A digital video game version was developed by CD Projekt Red and Can Explode Games. The physical version is super fun, so I heard. But online version is the one I played, it's glitchy as he'll, but it's still hecka fun, totally recommend it, but when it's free or something, or just get the physical version. Now, I got few post to catch up, first up #GameReview And a " #Ubisoft " Game, #FarCry Far Cry is a franchise of first-person shooter video games, all of which have been published by Ubisoft. The first game, Far Cry, was developed by Crytek to premiere their CryEngine software, and released in March 2004. Subsequently, Ubisoft obtained the rights to the franchise and the bulk of the development is handled by Ubisoft Montreal with assistance from other Ubisoft satellite studios. The following games in the series have used a Ubisoft-modified version of the CryEngine, the Dunia Engine, allowing for open world gameplay. There have been five main games in the series, along with two standalone expansions; the first game, initially developed for Microsoft Windows, also saw a number of ports to video game consoles. The Far Cry games, due to the history of their development, do not have any significant shared narrative elements, but instead share a theme of placing the player in a wilderness environment where they must help fight against one or more despots that control the region as well as surviving against wild animals that roam the open spaces. The Far Cry games feature a robust single-player campaign with later titles offering co-operative campaign support. The games also offer competitive multiplayer options and the ability for users to edit the games' maps for these matches. (I be quick) Far Cry 1 and 2 and 3 awesome, 3rd coop great 4 was okay, good plot but bad coop, just lazy coop actually. Primeval was pointless imo but alright I guess, but 5... I havent played yet so based on what I am hearing, it's freaking amazing. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's #GameReview Day And it's #Valvesteam game #halflife2 Half-Life 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed and published by Valve Corporation. It is the sequel to 1998's Half-Life, and was released in November 2004 following a five-year $40 million development. During development, a substantial part of the project was leaked and distributed on the Internet.  I played this on the orange box on ps3 first and later on pc and recently again on PC. That alone should tell you how much I enjoy it, at the time of its release, it was on top of its game, it was mind blowing, it won many awards, the best part of this game is the GamePlay, Then it's the Plot and lastly it's the design, as a game designer myself, I really appreciate what and how they did it, but if you take the idea out of Game Logic, it has few flaws, specially the ending. But the best part for me is half life 3 ;P For those who don't know, the signature weapon in this game (other than the crowbar) is the Anti Gravity weapon. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's #GameReview Day And I am gonna be quick and tell you about #Destiny Destiny is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It was released worldwide on September 9, 2014, for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles. Destiny marked Bungie's first new console franchise since the Halo series, and it was the first game in a ten-year agreement between Bungie and Activision. Set in a "mythic science fiction" world, the game features a multiplayer "shared-world" environment with elements of role-playing games. Activities in Destiny are divided among player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP) game types. In addition to normal story missions, PvE features three-player "strikes" and six-player raids. A free roam patrol mode is also available for each planet and features public events. PvP features objective-based modes, as well as traditional deathmatch game modes. In terms of Gameplay is very satisfying and enjoyable, the story line could use a serious work and PVP, well I am not into that, but if it's your jam, it's far more complicated than your everyday COD games. It's still hella fun and totally what I would play when I am feel down or just want to see some heads puped. Hi All ( ^ _^)/ It's #GameReview Day And this time it's an old #Game but done on #UnrealEngine called #specopstheline Spec Ops: The Line is a 2012 third-person shooter video game developed by the German studio Yager Development and published by 2K Games. It was released internationally in June 2012 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was later released for OS X in 2013 and Linux in 2015. As it's described in steam it's "gameplay designed to challenge players' morality by putting them in the middle of unspeakable situations where unimaginable choices affecting human life must be made. Features include, a gripping, storyline reminiscent of Apocalypse Now and Heart of Darkness but set in a ruined Dubai, tactical squad-based Delta Force gameplay throughout a horizontally and vertically oriented world, devastating sandstorms which can be used in combat, a variety of multiplayer modes and maps, and deep support featuring two factions." The ratings are high for this game and when they announced it's release I was excited but I didn't like the out come (unlike many others) The gameplay is great, the graphics are still standing after 6 years, but the plot was super predictable for me, and I feel like the story was wasted, it had so much potential that wasn't used, but still worth almost 7 hours of play, I had fun which is a key part in games but felt un-accomplished at the end of the game.
