Catching fish for my beautiful Pirate wife ♡♡♡♡♡
i would say everyone needs to play to the moon before they die but more importantly i think everyone should play finding paradise before they die. but to play finding paradise you should probably play to the moon first so it works out anyways
Child Names
Cliff: For Cliff, I knew that I wanted his child's name to reflect his own, since he is a character that finds so much joy in being a father. I chose "River" since they are both geographic land features. Image-wise, I see a sturdy cliff watching as the river winds it way through the world.
Huang: I wanted to choose a name that reflected Huang's financial sense. "Yuan" is one of the words used for Chinese currency. My understanding is that "Renminbi" is used more often, but I thought "Yuan" worked better as a name.
Marie: I wanted a name that reflected Marie's love of books, so I named her daughter "Shellie." Together they are Marie & Shellie, a homage to Frankenstein's author "Mary Shelley."
A Challenge!
I wanna design board games!
I am going to write something about my game design every week to organize my thoughts and keep me motivated!
I am making a post to hold myself to that!
Someone's already done this but here's Jaguar Guy ̶r̶e̶a̶l̶i̶z̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶"̶h̶o̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶h̶i̶t̶ ̶f̶u̶r̶r̶i̶e̶s̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶i̶n̶f̶e̶c̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶h̶u̶h̶"̶

I’m on a podcast!
Some online friends of mine have started a side podcast for the videogame forum I frequent. It’s called the Super Nintendo Exploration Squad, and in it we play randomly provided SNES games and evaluate them by the five categories of the week. This week’s categories were: Mystery, Poetry, Grandeur, Gun, and Harmony. This week started innocently (and mildly grumbly) talking about obscure c-rank platformer Prehistorik Man, before inevitably spiraling off into topics of capitalism and the history of game rentals.
Btw, we go by our forum handles, and I’m CourierRice.
You can listen to it on itunes or player.fm.
To win is to say “I came to win”.
headcanons-
Ophelia had/has a dog. She claims she got it just to track people, but she loves it really.
Guy fed/cared for a random stray cat. He'd never admit he cared for it, but he does. He also owned a snake.
Denny probably also has a dog. He got it to look extra intimidating, but its as much of a fluffball as him.
Mitch doesn't seem like the sort of guy to have pets.
Ophelia is obviously very good with technology and hacking, capable of programming AI and hacking into governmental websites from a young age, but she can't cook. At all. Barely even instant ramen. She is good at dance too, though doesn't care to admit it. Also a very good politician. She's big lesbian ofc and doesn't like to use sexuality as a tool, preferring blunt intimidation. She probably has a girlfriend who she's hella soft with.
Guy is good at art. He's also really into freerunning- although Ophelia (and Denny to an extent) do it out of necessity (the cool moves they pull off to fight) Guy takes it to the next level. He is capable of seducing his way out of trouble, or using sexuality to get close to a target, and has done so before although he takes no pleasure out of it. He cooks well and provided meals for his family most nights. Also enjoys dance and has decent hacking skills.
Denny is great with mechanics/engineering. He's the guy who designed the turrents, aircraft and mechs and with Ophelia's help he made the closed circuit alarm systems and the laser things. He's clumsily flirty but useless at picking anybody up tbh. He is actually a fairly decent leader and has good organizational skills- although each bounty hunter runs under their own rule Denny's the guy to go to if you want to pick up or lay down a contract, hit or just find some people to add to your own organisation.
Mitch used to be as equally skilful as his children, having taught Ophelia and Guy the majority of his moves. He however can't use Focus without the help of the last of specific banned pills (almost all destroyed because they hadn't been tested thoroughly and caused DNA mutations as well as other sicking side effects) - that mutated his genetic sequence enough that the skill of Focus was inherently passed down to his two eldest without needing pills to awaken it. Unfortunately he also passed on a greatly heightened risk for addiction and mental illnesses, which Ophelia copes with well but Guy... really doesn't. Although he's a pretty shitty deadbeat dad, who didn't really give a fuck about the kids until he needed a job done, he did teach them his incredible markmanship skills and how to use various weapons. Ophelia was intentional, Mitch wanting someone to pass his legacy onto, but Guy was unplanned, and Denny more so, having been born from a one night stand.
