presents - terezi gamzee
“i all up and got you a MOTHERFUCKING PRESENT.” Gamzee snickered, his face smeared with paint or what she suspected to be blood.
Suspiciously she eyed the large green gift splayed out on the table. She was dying to know what was in it but she swore she’d never let him know that so long as he lived. Gamzee was a heartless murderer and needed to be brought to justice, which is why she hated him with such a passion. But no matter what she did he always managed to escape death's grasp. He was like an illusive mirage, so tantalizing, yet so distant. Every step she took toward him was three steps back. Her nimble fingers tore at it finally as she glared at him. She couldn’t stand the way he grinned so smugly at her or how she wanted to know what was in the box so badly. It was hard not to think how handsome he’d look with her fist on his face or her knee shoved into his stomach. Taking a deep breath of hostile air she threw off the lid like she had much better things to do, then sniffing haughtily in his direction she peered in. A pair of clubs, beaten and old, doused with dried blood of all colors, wrong. Her hands shook with renowned fury as she picked them up and felt their weight. She was holding the weapons that had ended her friend’s lives, that had watched as they choked and sputtered on their own blood and breathed their last raspy breath. It was a horrendous gift, the worst she’d ever received. Terezi bared her teeth at Gamzee and launched herself at him, wrapped her hands around his neck so tightly she could feel his pulse thumping as loudly as a drum. He smiled at her, his eyes glazed over with hate that she mirrored back. Smashing her lips against his, biting and kicking and scratching and cuts. But she wouldn’t have it any other way.
