POSTED BEFORE MIDNIGHT YAAAYYYY!!!!

I never do that thing where you prepare for a special day with a special drawing to post - I am SO bad at planning for stuff like that in advance. But I was feelin it, and I thought to myself, you know what? I'm gonna draw my boyfriend today.

Also, I've noticed that here in my Home Country, the first snow of the season always happens on halloween, at least it has for the past several years. MAYBE the day after or before, but it's always really consistent. And this year? It snowed HARD. Usually it's just a few little flakes, but it looks like christmas outside. You can't see the ground.

So here is jack, braving the cold, wet, unforgiving landscape for some trickery. He's probably getting trench foot because he's wearing some medieval peasant ass shoes, but instead of leading to some horrible disease (because of the whole immortal thing), he's just numb from toe to knee for a while. But it's worth it for the goofs and the gaffs!!

Teaser for a Billy and Mandy AU (Main story about Jack and another Character)

To many, Eliza was a gem. Bright blue eyes, dark sun-kissed skin, ebony hair, and a kind soul reside in her. There was no bitter bone in her body, no sign of anything she was hiding. She was always found tending to her garden, readying produce and flowers for the trades. The day she and Jack met was a surprise; she remembers what happened as clearly as day. One day in the garden, she was tending to roses and marigolds. She never saw Jack walk past her, but she heard a shout loud enough to startle her, followed by a crash. Looking back was a sight to behold: seeing Jack had smashed his head against one of her large pumpkins, bits stuck to his ginger hair as he lifted his head back up. Jack could only laugh, somewhat embarrassed by his clumsy act. Eliza went to help clean the pumpkin pieces off him, grabbing a towel as he was helped up.

Old sketches I made long ago after switching from traditional art. Once in a while I find myself doodling old characters from shows I enjoyed as a kid, especially characters that had been through the wringer. I think it’s great when people can take a character and look at them from different perspectives. Jack is one of those characters and it’s shame we didn’t see more of him, especially in Underfist! It would’ve been interesting to see what he would’ve been as a member in the team.

It does make me wonder about how he’s been getting along in the modern age (aside from the pumpkin head of course). I like to think the land he lives on is somewhat protected as a “historical site” by the city. The pumpkin patch seen in the Halloween special makes me imagine him setting up shop at the market as well (trying to ignore the strange looks). Although looking back at the PS2 game, why is the pumpkin patch in the graveyard?

Anyways for the top left doodle I sketched what it might be like in a plant-like body. If anyone’s ever owned a house plant and miraculously kept it alive I think you get the idea. After his arrangement with Grim (and beheading) Jack’s mortal body couldn’t take the stress and started to naturally decompose. Thankfully his old bones were spared and in return that pumpkin head of his literally grew on him. Anyways time to go lie down and stare into the abyss for a while, hope you enjoyed my ramblings and sorry for any typos!
