tbh i can relate in some ways bc id love to have irl friends but i can't seem to make meaningful connections with people in my everyday life. and idk for a while i felt i must just be not appealing or interesting as a friend? but online, with people who have seen all about me, not just surface level, ive made really amazing friends. so idk i just decided that life is weird sometimes, but it doesnt mean ur not worth having ppl who care for u
Yeah, i wish i wasn’t so terrible at keeping in touch with people online, but my anxiety makes messaging hard hahaha. i’m working on it, though!
Oversharing time: i had two irl friends who i thought were it for me. we were super close, they knew me better than anyone ever for like 4 years (we met in college) until one day they decided they didn’t like me or want me around and took most of our friends with them, and it took me a while to notice because i kept trying because i didn’t want it to be my fault that we drifted away, until i realized they were doing it deliberately (together), and i guess i’m still not over that, so every rejection kinda piles on top of that, yk? i have literally no close friends other than my sister. I def need therapy tbh lol. Intelectually I know it doesn’t mean I’m not worthy, i’m still trying to convince the rest of my brain hahaha. Though i saw one of these girls some months ago and she turned into a gross terf so good riddance, thanks for getting out of my life
