A very cosy small place in the city centre of Amsterdam called Gartine makes fresh sandwiches and delicious pies for a reasonable price! They also do High Tea. I recommend the mackerel sandwich with horseradish and the cheesecake. Enjoy! You do need to make a reservation in advance, because it's often full: http://gartine.nl/

Gartine is a restaurant in Amsterdam. It is only open for breakfast, lunch and high tea and there's room for only 24 customers at a time. Food is served on antique chinaware collected by the owners Kirsten and Willem Jan Hendriks.  Ingredients are coming from the garden and orchard. This afternoon I surprised my best friend with a high tea for her birthday. We went to this cute little place called Gartine in the city center of Amsterdam. It was delicious! We were not the only ones to think so, good thing I made reservations.
