UT Papyrus, US Sans, Fellswap Gold Papyrus, UT Sans, UF Sans, US Papyrus, HT Sans, HT Papyrus, Gastertale Papyrus, Swapfell Purple Sans, and Swapfell Red Sans - if the apocalypse of any kind were to hit, would these skeletons survive, or be among the first to die?

13: Well hey! if you like apocalypse and skeletons (I choose to do a zombie one for this ask) why not check out my fic Rules To Survive the Zombie Apocalypse which follow swapfell Berry and Syrup and you through the zombie apocalypse. With that shameless plug done let’s get back to the ask:

Sans - Is pretty good at surviving although the cost to his mental health is big. He is pretty good at staying under the raider and can dodge and escape practically any situation. He’d survive for a while but unless he can find something to keep him going he’d probably just end up giving up and falling down by his own hand. No point surviving if there’s nothing to live for. 

Papyrus - He doesn’t last too long. He has a romanticised version of the apocalypse and believes that everything will get better. That everyone will get out alive. He ends up getting killed by someone he really shouldn’t have put his trust in. 

Red -He’s very good at surviving. Coming from a kill or be killed world he is very good at killing as well as knowing when to get the fuck out of a situation. He finds himself wandering around a lot looking for any source of entertainment. He isn’t dying anytime soon.

Blue -He doesn’t survive that long. He died a hero though, putting himself in danger in order to save his friends or family. He believes that they will be fine without him and wants them to live their lives. It is very noble and very distressing for anyone he sacrificed himself for. 

Orange -Despite his best efforts he’s still here. He thinks it’s cowardly that he hasn’t killed himself yet but his brother's last words are burnt into his skull and he just can't bring himself to do it. He’s around for a long time trying to find a way to reset the timeline and bring his brother back. 

Berry (SFP) -He won’t die that easily. In fact he finds the apocalypse rather fun. There’s no rules, he can do whatever he wants. Him and his brother wander around causing terror to any living humans they come across and if they ever get bored they can just head back home. Basically the apocalypse doesn’t seem to affect him that badly. 

Axe -Survival is kind of his thing. He’s fine, he’ll ride this thing out to the end, he’s eaten human before he will do it again. There is no way that he would be taken out by the apocalypse.

Crooks -He’s surviving this. If he survived the underground he can survive this. His ability to make killer traps that will basically stop anything in its tracks are crucial in his survival. Him and his brother will not be dying just because the rest of the world is. 

Green -He survives but only because he locked himself away in a lab underground somewhere. It is debatable whether he actually knows the apocalypse is happening or not. When he does emerge he won’t last long if he stays above ground. He’s just not cut out for the apocalypse. 

Lord (SFR) -This apocalypse isn’t taking him down. He is very good at, well not so much the surviving aspect but his ability to kill is unparalleled and he can do it with so little effort or remorse that it pushes him to survive. 

Coffee (SFG) -He won’t last too long. He’s just too soft for the apocalypse. Even with his advanced magic ability he can’t handle more than a few attackers at a time and gets taken out by a horde of the undead.

Would UT Papyrus, US Sans, UF Papyrus, SF Sans, HT Papyrus use their scarves and bandanas as improvised face masks, if they choose to go out and about on the Surface, to avoid that virus? Would their brothers, and Gaster Papyrus work on finding a cure to the human virus?

Sans -He pretty much volunteered down at the labs as soon as the virus became serious. He likes challenges and this is a challenge. Although Sans is lazy if something interests him enough he will become a real workaholic which is what happened here. He spends countless nights at the lab with Alphys trying to find a cure. 

Papyrus -He’d prefer to get an actual mask but if all else fails he’ll use his scarf in a pinch. He wants to get an actual mask though as a sort of sign to humans that he is taking this seriously and understands how dangerous this virus can be. Until he gets a mask he will use his scarf as a makeshift one.

Red -He will help find a cure if asked, probably by his Alphys, but he won’t go out of his way to try and help make the cure. It’s more because he’s lazy and doesn’t want to do any of the work more than anything else. That and he isn’t really fond of humans, but he does find the topic interesting and he likes chemistry so he’ll help if asked. 

Edge -What No. Why would he use his scarf as a face mask when he can just use an actual face mask. A custom one that he made himself. He can sew and so makes custom masks for his friends and family in their signature colours. They are really good quality and work pretty damn well. 

Blue -He’ll happily wear his bandanna as a makeshift mask. He’s done it before, mainly when he’s riding his bike and he doesn’t really mind doing it. He’s brother makes jokes about how he looks like a cowboy and despite some scolding Blue doesn’t seem that upset with the comparison.  

Orange -He’ll help if asked but it’s not really his area of expertise. He’s an engineer by trade and prefers working on and with machines but if he can help he will. Since he doesn’t think that he can help out with finding the cure he won’t offer up his help but if someone from the lab seeked him out he will happily lend a hand. 

Berry - He is not wearing his bandanna as a mask, no matter what anyone says. He probably comes off as being stubborn and a brat, like he does with most things but his bandanna is super important to him. He would even tell you that it’s the most important thing he owns which is why he keeps the tattered thing around. He’s not going to disrespect his bandanna by using it as a makeshift mask. 

Syrup -Probably won’t help out in creating a cure. He’s smart enough to help out; he just doesn’t want to. He won’t even help out if asked. It’s a lot of work and he would rather be working on his own projects…. Or sleeping. He won’t be assisting with the cure. 

Axe -He unfortunately won’t be able to assist in creating a cure. Due to his head injury he wouldn’t be able to concentrate for too long and would probably repeat steps that have already been taken because he’s forgotten that they had already been done. He will have to stay out of the cure process. 

Crooks -He would use his scarf as a mask way before the virus hit. He is super self conscious about his teeth and being the nice monster he is, he didn’t want to scare any humans that might have also been out and about so he’d simply pull the tattered scarf up to hide his teeth. 

Green -Of course he’s going to assist in finding a cure. He probably started this on his own, just messing around before he’s seeked out by a bigger lab. Turns out his own research is leagues ahead of any lab in his area and with him on any team a cure is found rather fast.

Does the skeleton join in, or watch and listen?

SansHe’ll watch but you better prepare for all the puns and teasing he is going to put you through after your solo is done. It’s just the nature of your friendship nothing malicious, just some friendly teasing at your expense 

PapyrusYou know he’s going to join in. The two of you sing a wonderful duet as you do your shopping, maybe annoying the others in the store just a tad but not enough for anyone to be especially mad at you for anything. It is just a bit of fun

RedFirst of all he thinks this is adorable but he is going to try and get out of there as quick as possible. Honestly it’s kind of embarrassing and he does not want to be associated with you. What if some other monsters see? He is not up for that. 

EdgeInsists that you don’t however he won’t try to physically stop you. He may insult your singing after you finish though. He may roll his eyelights a few times as you continue to sing though. 

BlueYou know he’s going to join in! If he knows the song he is going to sing along with you, if not he is still going to try his best to sing along with you. It’s loud and basically everyone in the store can hear you two but it’s a lot of fun.

OrangeHe’ll be singing along with you although it is very quiet and he actually isn’t aware that he’s doing it. If you point it out to him he’ll become very embarrassed, something about your voice just subconsciously made him want to sing along. 

LordOrders you to stop. Not only are you embarrassing yourself but you are embarrassing him and he will not stand for that so you better stop it right now. If you don’t it will probably spark and argument or at the very least a tantrum. 

MuttWon’t sing along or anything but will be tapping his foot very subtly. He doesn’t mention it after you finish and the two of you continue on your day like normal. 

RouletteHe’ll stop and watch you, just interested in what you're doing. He enjoys watching you as he sees you as being so carefree compared to both him and his bro so watching you do simple things like this brings him joy. 

SniperWill watch you as you sing, occasionally spinning you around or tapping his hand on something along to the beat. He doesn’t want to sing because he doesn’t want to draw more attention to himself but he is enjoying watching you. 

AxeHe honestly doesn’t notice, or he does and then immediately forgets about it. Look there’s a lot of food here and he’s more interested in that than your singing, although he does enjoy your singing in any other location

CrooksHe wants to sing with you but is very nervous and self conscious about himself. He is also very uncomfortable being out in public places known to have large numbers of people as he doesn’t want to scare anyone and is more concerned about getting out of there right now than your singing. He does give you a compliment when you finish your song though. 

GHe’s going to start filming but it isn’t for the reason you think, unless you think it’s to tease you about later in which case it’s exactly what you think. He honestly just thinks it’s a bit odd and very cute but he also loves teasing you and this is the perfect ammunition. 

GreenHe’ll be watching you from the corner of his eye, you can see the small smile gracing his teeth, but he will also continue on with the shopping. You have a task to do and he’s there to do it. 

LustWould be completely enthralled by this. He’d have to stop whatever it was he was doing, being frozen in place as he just watches you. He thinks that you are amazing. 

CharmWould start off by watching you but that wouldn’t last long. He just had to join in but he doesn’t know the song so instead he’ll grab you by the hand and start dancing around the isle with you as you sing. 

PoppyHe probably ignores you for the most part. It’s not intentional, more like he’s comfortable around you and used to this from you. If you listen closely to him you can hear him humming along with you.

Back on the MHA kick, I would like to ask about back before the s/o back before they turned to good for their skellies. What if a situation landed them in the hospital and custody? They encountered the skeletons, and the soul mate attraction was there, but they hadn’t had much of a chance to talk with them since. Would the skeletons reach out for them, wait till they have served their sentence, or would they just avoid them? How would they react to the potential s/o being unmasked on camera?

13: Ok so for some reason in my head I thought this was one asks so by the time I figured out it wasn’t I had already written the answers for the second skeletons so I had to go back and do the normal skeletons so there is a lot of skeletons. 

Sans -Yeah, no, he wants nothing to do with you. He gets that you're supposed to be his soulmate and everything but one you’re human and two you are considered a villain. Although the news says you don't kill Sans doesn’t think it would take that long for you to snap and do it and he wants nothing to do with that. To him you will just not exist. 

Papyrus -He can’t just abandon you. He knows that you are a good person and he also believes that you can be better. He’ll visit you whenever he can and just talk to you. He just wants to get to know you and the two of you quickly become close, even if you don’t understand why he started to visit you.

Red -He’s kind of conflicted, like he doesn’t want to see you because of the whole anti hero thing, he thinks that it will be a huge bother, but he also wants to talk to you. He doesn’t actually believe that he has a soulmate thinking he doesn’t deserve one but he will fold and visit you. 

Edge -He won’t be visiting you. To him you got what you deserve, he may hit you up when you get out of prison but you don’t see or hear from him until then. He does watch your unmasking on the news and although he acts uninterested it is clear to anyone who knows him that he is very interested. 

Blue -He is visibly distressed that you were hurt but he can’t do anything about it. He will visit you but actively trying to get you out or stop the unmasking would literally go against his job. He thinks it might be good for you, turn you to the good side or something. 

Orange -He thinks you deserve this and is going to actively avoid you. Basically acting like he never met you in the first place. To him having no soulmate would be better than any of this so he’s just going to live out his life like he doesn't have one. 

Berry -Well this is just unacceptable. Of course he is going to break you out! No soulmate of his is going to jail no matter what they’ve done. You will however receive a lecture about not getting caught and the importance of keeping your identity secret. He is of course a big fan of yours, you being an anti hero and all and although he tells you he won’t be saving you again he most definitely will. 

Syrup -yeah you're not staying in custody. He seriously considers letting you know it was him who saved you but he isn’t sure whether you are actually his soulmate or if this is just a phase, so you have no idea who saved you or how you ended up where you ended up but at least your free right.  

Nightmare -Was drawn to this dimension from the negative emotions that persisted through. He stayed because of all the ones you were emitting. It was a good source of energy from him and that was what originally attracted him to you. He didn’t mean to grow attached to you and the positive emotions that come from it make him physically ill. Which is when he decides to leave. Before that he’s just sort of been there annoying you. Whenever your emotions shift back to the negative he’ll reappear to annoy you but as soon as anything positive shifts he’s out. He might even break you out of custody just to force some negative emotions from the community. 

Dream -He accidentally ended up here, sort of. It was a mission of protection in reality and he just ended up in the same spot as you. He is so happy to meet you but can feel the negative emotions surrounding you. It becomes his mission to change both your and the perspective of the community's view on you. Being basically a god of good emotions he thrives to bring joy and peace to different dimensions and yours is just that much more important to him because you're there. He will actually visit you quite a lot and just talk to you. Trying to get you to be more positive with your work and life as a whole. He believes you are a good person and he wants to prove it to everyone. 

Ink -again him showing up was an accident but he is so excited to meet you! Even if it was just briefly. Because of his scatter brained personality he actually gets a bit distracted so by the time he comes back to your dimension you are already in jail. This doesn’t seem to bother him however as he will show up, uninvited just to hang out with you or tell you tales of the latest adventure. He also has a habit of painting on your cell walls which the guards have given up punishing you for. He seems generally happy to see you each and every time. 

G -Who do you think is the one that put you in the hospital? It was sort of a tactical decision on G’s part, he thought it would be better if you got hurt than getting killed by someone else. After that though he will avoid you. He doesn’t need a villain in his life and thinks it would be better to live his life alone than to deal with any drama you would present in his life. You getting unmasked will sting a bit, he thinks he’s just feeling you pain, but ultimately he thinks you got what was coming to you. 

Green -he has a nervous breakdown in the lightest of terms. Ever since discovering that you are his soulmate his anxiety has gotten worse and he will bury himself in his work in order to not think about you. He thinks it has something to do with your choice of profession, just the idea of it and of you being a bad guy hurts him. Even if you don’t kill people the media will not paint you in a good light. He will actively try to avoid you and doesn’t even know you were unmasked as he will turn off the tv whenever something about the meta humans come on. 

Reaper - He wasn’t there for you that day, he had other business to attend to. Being the god of death you didn’t see him, you weren’t about to die and he wasn’t about to reveal himself. Honestly seeing you tears him up a bit. The last person he fell in love with he accidentally killed by touching. He tells himself that he needs to stay away. To stay out of your life and to just forget about you but he can’t. He finds himself visiting you in the cell they hold you in, you're not able to see him but you can feel someone watching. About you being unmasked, it doesn’t phase him, he has no stakes in this mortal world and even now that he knows you are here he is desperately trying to stay out of it. Fearing what might happen if he doesn’t.

Valentine's Day - The reactions of the skeletons when their favorite human gives them the best valentine's day message they ever seen. For ut sans, ut, papyrus, us sans, us papyrus, uf sans, uf papyrus, ht papyrus, gaster sans, gaster papyrus, mt papyrus, ul papyrus, and storyshift papyrus

13: I took ‘favourite human’ to mean friend not actually dating (yet). Also we don’t celebrate valentine's day here, or at least it’s rare so my knowledge on the customs and stuff maybe a bit obscure,

SansYou sent him a barrage of jokes perfectly fitted into a sweet message. It was the first thing he woke up to and he can’t stop laughing about it. Honestly it made his day, he completely forgot that it was valentine's day but replied to your message with one of his own that is just overflowing with puns. 

PapyrusHe proclaims it is the best note he's ever received and continues to show it to basically anyone and everyone. He keeps on telling you that it’s because he can feel your love coming off of the page and it just makes him so happy. The note gets framed and put on his wall and he’ll look at it whenever he gets sad as a reminder that someone loves him. 

RedThe note is small, it’s on a sticky note and honestly he doesn’t see it till he gets home and it sort of breaks him. He spent the whole day surrounded by couples who were acting all lovey and it just hurt him to think that no one cared about him. Honestly he hates the whole concept of the holiday and being out in it just made him mad. Seeing your not though makes him realise that he is loved and it just overwhelms him. He still has the note and looks at it often. 

EdgeThinks texting is a waste of time but your text was one he had to reply to. It’s nothing long or fancy like what you sent him. Just a simple token of appreciation. Anyone who knows Edge though can see that he’s walking with a spring in his step for the rest of the day.

BlueHe thinks this is the best gift ever and thinks he knows what the two of you are going to do today. It’s a date! Well sort of, a friend date, you go on a walk and have a picnic, go rollerblading together at the rink before heading home for a games night. Blue get’s lots of pictures and is happy to present on his wall a collage of the day which includes your note

OrangeJust thinks the note is super cute and so like you. He expected something like this from you honestly, it’s just the sort of thing you’d do. He may tease you about writing it later but that’s just the kind of relationship you have, it’s nothing malicious. He has the note pinned up on the cork board in his room, just as a small memento. 

CrooksIs super excited to get mail and when he sees it’s from you that excitement only doubles. He’ll read the note out loud to his brother gushing about what a great friend you are before sticking it on the fridge so that whenever he goes to make food he can see it. 

GHe can’t accept such a sweet gesture without giving you something in return. He’ll write you a song, it’s simple but sweet. He turns your own words into lyrics saying that you just have a knack with words and he was inspired. He doesn’t play much but you get your own private concert at the end of the day. 

GreenYou actually got him to blush a little after reading it. He’s a bit of a grammar Nazi so can’t help himself in correcting some minor errors but he assures you that he really is touched by the notion and offers to escort you to dinner as a sign of his appreciation. 

SniperHe’s never received a note like this before, he isn’t entirely sure what to do with it. Don’t get him wrong he really appreciates it and will cherish it but it sort of took him by surprise. Mainly he feels guilty because he didn’t get you anything. He’s not really caught up on human traditions and holidays yet. 

CharmHonestly with so many notes of admiration he gets daily you didn’t think he’d even see yours for at least a few months. It wasn’t until you saw it hanging up in his room that he tells you it was one of the sweetest things he’s ever received and as it’s from a treasured friend he just had to show it off to the world. 

PoppyFinds the gesture so charming! He’ll pick some flowers from his garden, arranging them in a lovely bouquet to present to you as a sign of his thanks. He stuck the note up on his fridge, it doesn’t have anything personal on it and he wants to see it as often as he can.

For both the Sanses and Papyruses from UT, US, UF, HT, SF Red/Gold, Gaster Sans, Gaster Papyrus, MT, and StoryShift Papyrus - This skeleton had an argument with his favorite human, and the human ran away to hide. He's searching and looking for the human, and the human is hiding on the house's rooftop and took the ladder with them. Does he find the human?

SansHe knows where you are but he’s avoiding you just as much as you’re avoiding him. That’s what he does whenever he gets into conflicts, avoids the problem until it just goes away. He’s not going to go after you, you're free to be by yourself until you seek him out and corner him to either apologise or get him to apologise. 

PapyrusHe finds you, after a period of time being mad and ranting before being guilty enough to seek you out, but he can’t figure out what to say. He instead chooses a different route. He doesn’t call out to you or anything but chooses instead to do a grand gesture of love to show you that he still loves you even if you don’t forgive him. 

RedHe leaves you up there for a while, he needs to work off his rage, but then he just gets mad at you for not coming down. You’ve been up there for hours before he finally snaps. He appears behind you and begins to yell at you before he sees your face and he’s realised he’s once again fucked up. He’ll start to apologise and the two of you have a heart to heart and spend hours up there just working things out.

EdgeHe probably doesn’t go looking for you. He understands that after a fight some people just need space but he doesn’t like you being upset with each other so he makes you a beautiful dinner for when you are ready to come back. He leaves it set up and sends you a text to tell you it’s ready. He won’t attend unless you ask and stay out of your way. 

BlueHe can’t find you and it’s crushing him. He just wants to apologise and tell you how much he loves you but he can’t do that since he doesn’t know where you are. You come home to find him crying, or at the very least it’s obvious he has been crying, in the living room. 

OrangeHe finds you and he teleports next to you. He’s not trying to be invasive or anything he just wants you to know that no matter how many times you fight he will always be there for you, no matter how much you hate him. He will wait silently next to you until you’re ready to talk. 

LordDemands that you come down immediately. You’re being childish and he will not stand for this. If you don’t come down voluntarily he is going to send Mutt up there to get you and if that happens there will be consequences. 

MuttHe’ll leave you be for the most part. If you told him to stay away then he’ll stay away. He’s not used to double meanings from you and would rather you just be straightforward with him. So he leaves you alone. He knows where you are and is sure you’ll come down and talk whenever you're good and ready. 

AxeHe’s already forgotten about the fight you had. Not because it wasn’t big, he just has a really hard time retaining new information. He finds you on the roof but is confused as to why. When he finds out you had a fight he’s going to try to make it up to you even if he doesn’t know why you two were fighting.

CrooksHe finds you after searching for hours and becomes extremely worried. He knows your mad and you want to be alone but he’s worried that you're going to hurt yourself and if that happens he’ll never forgive himself. He’s going to yell up at you trying to convince you to at the very least come down so he knows you're not going to fall. 

GHe knows where you are but he’s going to leave you be. He’ll find his own corner to go and hide in, have a few smokes and just feel terrible about all the shit the two of you talked about. He’s sure you want your space and is just going to wait until you are ready to talk things out. He just hopes that you don’t stay mad at him forever. 

GreenIs trying his hardest to give you your space but he needs you to forgive him.  He’s very conflicted about the whole thing. Should he go and apologise or just wait it out? What if you don’t want to see him and he just makes everything worse? He spends so much time arguing with himself that you come down long before he finally makes a choice and by then it doesn’t really matter what he chose to do. 

RouletteHe knows where you are  and he’s not letting you stay up there by yourself. It could be dangerous for so many reasons. He’s going to sit next to you in silence, if you want to be alone go lock yourself in a room, indoors where no one will see you. After a while he just starts talking, calmly about everything you fought about. He’s not trying to drag out the argument he’s just trying to calmly explain his side of the story. 

SniperHe doesn’t know where you are and he’s been searching for hours. He wants to show you he’s sorry but now he’s just really worried about you. What if someone found you? What if it was an opposing gang? He’s worrying himself sick with guilt and fear and just wants to know you’re safe.

PoppyHe doesn’t know where you are and after so long searching for you he’ll stop looking. He knows you’ll come back when you're ready to talk. Honestly he doesn’t know how the fight even started but he’ll wait until you're ready to talk through it together. He isn’t giving up on you he just knows that you need some space sometimes.
