They had done it. Together the Fragments had vanguished the dragons of Tiamat. United they had stood against the enemies of the throne and secured the true heir for Ryascow.
Now, months later after the great victory and the feasts of glory, Arthur and Songwyng would be seen high in the skies, greeting each dawn with a roar full of vigor. They flew from the Vale Tower all the way to the Ember Fort, a journey they often took.
They would visit their fellow Fragments who had scattered across the realm. But the young knight and newly aquianted lord made sure that their bonds of friendship always remained.

The cool waters of the ponds were exactly what Mairon needed. Long and hot had the past few days of summer been. On the small dock he could see the roofs of Hailig and hear the winds whisper in the tree tops. (I felt like writing a small thing to a new DnD character of mine to get a better feel for him)
