My friend, dr @naseef-mahmoud is a pharmacist living in Gaza whose pharmacy and home have been lost due to the war.

Only less than $300 have been raised for this campaign. The importance of pharmacies worldwide is greatly undervalued and the work that pharmacists do the world over is incredible. I’ve been a pharmacy technician in the states for 10 years and the work done in community pharmacies is difficult and rewarding.

Pharmacies are the most accessible healthcare institutions for most people, between dispensing monthly maintenance medications, providing vaccinations to the public at a large scale, and providing valuable healthcare information through consultations— pharmacies and pharmacists are a cornerstone to a healthy community and world overall.

If you’re someone who relies on a pharmacy for your daily or maintenance medications, I would consider giving to Dr Mahmoud— places like Gaza are in desperate need of pharmacies and other healthcare facilities to keep their people safe and healthy.
