If you’ve been following my previous Fanbruary endeavors, you already know who v-diggety is, and so I’m just gonna launch in to the story behind this pic!
So, after Reed’s gotten to know Lyle a bit, she sometimes goes over to Lyle’s house with the others for lunch or whatever. One time, while they were conversing, she says something along the lines of “Can you believe it!? In this day and age!? It’s Inconceivable!” And Lyle, being a huge fan of old movies, replies “You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means.” and laughs to himself, but Reed just sits there confused. Lyle’s like, “You know, Princess Bride!” And reed remarks “Oh! I’ve heard of that movie! I’ve never seen it though” and Lyle’s just like “YOU HAVEN’T!? It’s a classic! Come on, we’re watching it right now!” So, they go and watch the movie, and of course Reed thinks it’s SUPER AWESOME! (Cuz it is) and while she’s monologing about how cool it is, she uses a hairclip in her pocket to make a fake mustache and grabs the umbrella she brought (It was raining on the way there) and does the whole “My name is Domingo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” thing, and Lyle, bein the dad he is, joins in on it, and eventually it escelates to them full on fake swordfighting while Sira, as Prince Aris (Sira spelled backwards, because they’re both dorks) sits on the sidelines with a fake crown and cheers on his boyfriend! And they have a bunch of fun and it’s awesome!!!!! I admit, It’s a bit self inserty, but I saw the ask about Lyle quoting princess bride and I just couldn’t stop thinking bout this!!!! Anway, I hope you like it!!!!!
