Julia Ferraioli’s #GCPNEXT session recording on how to build smart applications with Google Cloud Platform was published!
Why Google Will Dominate Cloud Computing
After seeing GCP Next, Google Cloud has elegantly solved many of the multi-tenancy issues next generation businesses platforms need to scale way beyond 500,000 concurrent users or support very large volumes of mixed workloads from different SMBs and SMEs around the world. Almost the entire prior era of ERP, CRM industry developed for on-premises and has been lifted and loaded into AWS or sometimes Azure, but largely not rewritten as the code bases were organically written for on-premises architectures. Many of these solutions rolled up by the top private equity firms (Apax, Vista, etc) or by Oracle and are now ripe for next generation of multi-tenancy business platforms. Further the multi-tenancy ERP, CRM system platforms that emerged after the dot com bust built on Oracle, Microsoft, MySQL or Postgres sharded database patterns are now out looking to define the next generation technology for frugal scalability and developer productivity. After seeing a GCP NEXT Recap at Google, I see many reasons to MT ERP build on GCP.
