Relationship Headcanons - Gear, Tsurugi and Kuro
Gear
At first, Gear comes across as someone who doesn’t seem to give affection and dismissive but is in fact quite an affectionate person, making sure you know you are loved and always keeps an eye out for you.
Will sometimes make a jokey comment if you make a careless mistake or if you’re trying to do something that doesn’t quite go to plan, causing you to shoot one back at him in return though it’s usually just for banter.
If the two of you are just lounging, he would do so whilst half-transformed, allowing you to mess with his ears or tail as long as you are gentle. There are times when he would refuse but eventually give in. Even so, he fully trusts you to bring him back when full moon comes.
Dates with him often range from going on day trips together with Youtarou for some sight-seeing, shopping (although he often gets mesmerised by new gadgets at technology stores) or just hang around at one of your homes.
Drops messages now and then to see how you are if the two of you are not together.
Tsurugi
Wouldn’t treat you any differently from how he usually does with Yumi and Jun, seeing you as a close friend and part of their group.
Is a little clingy and does get a little jealous but usually brushes it off with jokes and is ok if you assure him that he’s the only one you’re together with.
Will try to arrange time with you that doesn’t involve spending too much money or any at all, such as walks across the beach, park and sight-seeing. Snacks, food and drinks are often paid for by you, but he wouldn’t choose anything too expensive unless you insist. There would be occasional times when he does pay though.
Teases you a lot in a jokey way a lot but will still do he can to protect you if necessary. Is surprisingly easy to talk to and understanding. You will sometimes get pranked now and then though.
If he’s bored, one of the first things he does is try to seek your attention, not matter what you’re trying to get done, getting quite close and either resting on you or giving you a surprise hug from behind. He trusts you as one of the only people he feels comfortable letting into his personal space physically and emotionally, though will still withhold information if he feels you didn’t need to know.
Kuro
He is not much of an outdoors person and prefers to spend time with you inside playing video games or watching a movie together. Sometimes if you go to the arcade, the two of you often challenge each other to see who can get the most tickets in games or get the highest score. He would still try to grab you a stuffed toy from the claw machine if you asked for it though.
Still lazes around and doesn’t like doing chores but if he sees that you had a long day, he would occasionally help a little.
Likes to spend time in his cat form, usually sitting on top of your head like he does with Mahiru if you are reading or playing on your phone.
On days that you do go out, he will complain about it but still tag along, generally agreeing to go to where you want. He may seem like he’s not paying attention but if anyone tries to hit on or mess with you, he will not hesitate to come to your aid.
If you are heading out on a trip without him, he would constantly check that you would be fine on your own before you leave but would give you some space if needed.
