Being on the good side of a dangerous, manipulative, inhuman dark side would sound good, since you're in their good books and have some sense of protection in dark scary times, but it wasn't when they were needy shits like Darkiplier.
"That was autocorrect but you know what I meant"
"You'll find it interesting"
"I find my dreams interesting dark"
"I'll make your dreams night terrors if you don't get dressed right now Y/n."
"I'm actually dealing with the reason I'm calling your useless ass."
"Antis coming over... you normally bring popcorn when I say that."
When you arrived at the house you didn't even have a chance to knock before you were thrown over someone's shoulder and teleported 5 feet inside. A hand covering your eyes, an unnaturally low voice asked "What ya gonna do to wriggle out of this?" You swung your leg until your foot made contact with something soft and smiled as Anti dropped you to lean over in pain.
"Nice try Anti, you're gonna waste all your energy before Dark beats your ass." You told him, punching him on the shoulder, he punched you back, but harder "If you knew it was me... why did you kick me?!" He wheezed.
"Because I knew it was you." You smiled. Dark smiled at that too, only letting that emotion show when Anti was keeled over breathless, in fact it's why he'd bothered to get to know you in the first place.
"Y/n, thank you for coming-"
"You're not welcome" you interrupted, which you knew always rustled him "I was sleepy darkkkk." Anti brought you against his chest to rock you, giggling at your human fatigue. "Yes well this is important and for your safety. So I thought it best to tell you as soon as possible. And to show you so you weren't stupid enough to anger it."
"It?" You now paid attention, walking towards Dark so he could lead you to what he was alluding to. You didn't have to wait long through his background information before you could hear loud thumps against the metal door of Dark's panic room, that was usually unoccupied. "That, in there, is Apocalypse." He growled, banging back against the door once powerfully. "I rescued...it..from Gear, the mad scientist-"
"Who's mad for trying to mess with our pal here" Anti interrupted, swinging his hands round your shoulders from behind you.
"Multiple times." You added bitterly.
"I-" Dark announced loudly to get attention back to him "Saved the thing, but I don't want it anymore. It doesn't know how to follow orders."
"I would have gotten out anyway!" You heard in a booming voice, which made both you and Anti jump backwards slightly, and him curling his arms more round you for what you at first thought was protection. "And you thought I was a whiny teen." Anti laughed before you could ask with a raised eyebrow "So not an 'it' then?" Dark rolled his eyes but you didn't finish witnessing the roll because suddenly you felt Anti grip you tighter and before you knew it you had been dropped by him into the highly locked room of the creature even Dark couldn't control.
You gasped as you fell, you couldn't help it, it was freezing in there, compared to the warm well lit outside you'd just been in. You heard a sound from the corner of the room as you were dropped, a shuffling perhaps, and you couldn't help but be a little scared of what type of ungodly monster Dark could be hiding in here, a room you were now both trapped in, lightly hearing Dark's yells and Anti's run.
"H-hello?" You asked quietly, in case it was ready to pounce "I told you I wanted to be left alone!" He strode fast and sharply towards you, you covered your face with your arms as a reflex until 5 seconds had passed and you realised you hadn't been squished yet.
Forcing yourself to bring your hands down you got a better look at Apocalypse now he'd stepped into the dim light escaping into the room. What stood before you didn't look like a monster. Just a rather tall, rather muscly man, with steel eyes and curly hair. "Who are you?" He asked, gritting his teeth, obviously very agitated at having been locked away, seemingly for the second time after what Dark said about Gear. You wondered now, if he'd ever not been locked up.
"I-I'm Y-Y/n" you stuttered, taking a deep breath you held your hand out to him to try and keep things calm but he didn't seem to notice or understand because he walked closer to you, backing you into a wall and, while keeping distance for his own sake, you could feel his immense heat radiating from him compared to the chill of the room. "I meant, who are you to the fuck that locked me in here?"
He exhaled sharply through his nose and you scrunched your eyes reflexively at that. He saw you flinch, hard to miss when he was centimetres away, but didn't move, and you were too busy trying to find an answer to his question that wouldn't get you killed. 'Who were you to Dark?' 'A friend' he'd argue 'catharsis' you'd sometimes think, but this Apocalypse didn't seem to like your friend that much, and his gritted teeth and clenched fists didn't exactly sway you to answer freely. "I'm the one that keeps him in check." You answered, and it was the truth.
Apocalypse looked you over as he tried to read you, he'd never met anyone like you before, but he reckoned that was because he hadn't made an effort to meet that many people point blank.
"Did you pick that name yourself? Apocalypse?" He looked...strange, as you asked that. Head tilted and pupils dilating back and forth, luckily he'd stopped crushing his teeth together. "Don't remember." He grunted, turning to face away from you, crossing his arms and sure you weren't any possible threat to him.
"Because I wouldn't stick anyone with a four syllable name, I'm lazy and that's just too much damn effort." He grunted again but this time it was different, like he thought you spouting a weakness like being lazy was untacttical and surprising, yet almost beguiling. "Would you be cool if I called you A? I mean I come up with way more embarrassing names for Dark in there and I think it suits you ; A." You let the letter roll off your tongue, and hoped he'd turn around to give his approval, or at least not cave your skull in. "You can call me that." You smirked, wanting to get to know him better. "But only if you tell me his nickname, so I can call him it as I'm ripping his spine out through his head." A had a sort of fire in his eyes, one that excited you especially now he had somewhat less of a sour face accompanying him. "Oh A, do you think for a pain that big I only have one?" His fire grew bigger as did your smirk.
That was when the light blinded you and you felt two pairs of hands roughly grab you by the shirt and pull you out, closing the safety room door behind you, but A was less than a step behind and pushed against the two egos holding the door easily, ripping it off his hinges as you now noticed he was a lot taller than you either thought or remembered, at least half a foot bigger than the two and still growing.
"YOU!" A growled, his veins popping from his muscles and turning black in colour.
A punched a hole through the wall which Dark wouldn't even let Anti touch with his 'filthy' hands and a shiver went through your body, having never heard Dark trip on his words, A's eyes black like oil as he growled at Dark. You leapt in front of A though as you saw Anti crouching on the ceiling, Dark's stutter only a distraction, and ignoring Dark's shouts as you got into vision, stood in front of A and put your hands on his arms, feeling the veins pulsing against your palms and his skin almost burning to the touch. "Y/n step back!" Dark warned, worried for his friends safety.
"No!" You said, luckily that got A to stop shaking so violently "Get down from there right now Anti!" You told him, A snarling as he looked up to spot where Anti was hiding.
Anti looked miserable at his missed opportunity for a fight, glitching to stand by Dark and scold you. "You heard what Dark said as he took us to see the prick didn't you y/n?! But you didn't hear what he said when I dropped you in there, that's why we rushed to get you out. It's not a toy! It's an uncontrollable killing machine!"
"HE-" you interrupted, angry yourself, "WAS CREATED TO BE ANGRY. You can't hold that against him!" Dark and Anti looked doubtfully at each other, then back to A who you couldn't see with your back to his chest. "Ease up and back off, okay?!"
Dark squinted at you, not liking when your temper rose since he was supposed to be the most stubborn one. Anti kept his eyes on the entity behind you the whole time, you didn't know what he was seeing, nor did you want to as your eyes did battle with Dark, but you turned as you felt his arms leave your grip, and A, smaller now and eyes normal, simply left the building, slamming the door behind him.
You sighed thankful because no one had gotten hurt, and after Anti checked A hadn't hurt you while you had been locked up and apologising for that 'prank', now he realised A's strength, he punched you on the shoulder for the second time today, for the same reason he apologised.
Dark looked uneasily in the direction A had left, surprised he'd just backed down like that, but thankful he was gone, while A stuffed his hands in his pockets as he got to the cold outside, tilting his face up to feel the rain against his skin to cool off, never having been allowed outside for too long he secretly relished in this, but he was uneasy like the three in the house he'd just left. Uneasy because now he wasn't completely sure that you weren't any possible threat to him, because he'd never backed down from a fight.
