I focused mostly on the editing/proofing side of things. One of the editing courses (I can't remember which) was super hard. I did visual design too. I did publicity and digital publishing as well. It took me about two and a half years although I crammed a lot in.

Cool! I’ll probably post as I work through the rest of my courses. Are you using the certificate for anything career-wise now?

Just wanted to say I completed my publishing certificate at Ryerson last year! It's a great program!

I really like it so far! I started in 2013. I did the Trade Overview and then Visual Design. I did the Education Overview and then last fall I did the children’s publishing course. That’s my 3.5 credits. I have until 2019 to finish it (six years from start date to get all eight courses) and I want the children’s publishing designation while I’m at it. Also I’m wanting to focus on doing mostly editing courses. What did you do for yours?

Oh yes! Right now decoupage is my main crafty thing.

2. Have you ever cosplayed before and if not, would you? Bonus question: Who would you go as?

Have not, probably wouldn’t, but if I did I would be well suited to go as Rose.

3. What word makes you laugh? (Example: mine is a toss up between toot and caucus).

Having people who are willing to have extremely detailed discussions about EVERYTHING.

The attitude of everything-is-problematic-including-fellow-fans.

6. If you could be another person for a day, who would it be?

You know? I don’t think I’d want to be any other person.

7. If you could live in another time period for a week, which would it be?

Maybe the 20s? When the music was good and G.K. Chesterton was alive and things hadn’t gone completely to pot again?

8. If you could own an exotic animal, which animal would you choose?

An ELEPHANT.

In a HOT MINUTE.

10. What is your pet peeve?

Apostrophes used in plurals.

11. If Donald Trump gets elected President, are you planning on moving to Canada? (There’s room on my couch!)

Nope. I’m just going to pop some popcorn and sit on my own couch and watch the show.

Thanks! I don’t have any more ideas within this ‘verse at this particular moment, but I’m definitely open to the idea of continuing it! Daniel’s gossipy neighbors are almost absurdly fun to write, haha.
