Hey! i love your screenshots, i was wondering if you could post a pic of your map! I love the post showing a waterfall nook in your town, where u wished you could walk in rivers and i would love to be able to do something similar! Thanks :)
Hello! I’m sorry to say that I am a resetting addict and the island with the waterfall, I no longer have. I do however have a screenshot of the original map before I made the waterfall right here:
Luckily the waterfall I created is simple enough to do again. Now, if you look at where the campsite is at the top right corner, you can create the same waterfall- all you need is two layers above the main ground. From the base of that pond where the campsite is, I used terraforming to cut the cliffs down to connect to the river. Which created that double waterfall effect. THEN, from the left and right sides of the river (where the opening of the beach is and the other side) I made little cliffs then once again terraformed rivers over them to create the little waterfalls on each side. That’s about it. I’m sorry if this isn’t so helpful. The reason I reset my island after this was because I didn’t really like the placement of the rivers and I had to terraform so much of the island in order to actually like it. So I reset in order to get a map I wouldn’t have to terraform so much of- and just enjoy its natural state. :)
