My entry for the “Who’s That Gemsona” event being hosted by @gemsonaresources! This is Turquoise (sometimes known as Blue) from the webcomic I really need to get back to entitled “CIA” (which you can look at here if you like).

If you’ve got a gemsona, I’d highly recommend joining this event! I believe it’ll be the last one @gemsonaresources does before closing down their blog and the more the merrier!

@gemsonaresources Sorry if im late! This is for off color gemsona day~ This is pebble, a pearl who came out completely wrong. She came from a low quality kindergarten in the depths of homeworld, so when gems started emerging they had shattering tools on hand for the inevitable off color or two. Being so small, Pebble was able to get away and escape. She lives with ten-ish others in an off color camp in the tunnels. Pebble is two thirds the height of a Ruby and can not speak. She can make her gem glow, but that is her only really ability.

This is Dioptase for @gemsonaresources‘s event!

The traits given to me were: Dioptase; Has a large nose; hates being the center of attention; has a yo-yo as a weapon; the gem once accidentally poofed their friend while showing off their yo-yo

Pronouns: She/Her

Weapon: Yo-Yo

Ability: Dioptase is able to control and speak to plants.

Personality: Dioptase hates being the center of attention, due to her shyness. She has a few anger issues. She also does not like to be social with other gems, just plants.

Backstory: Dioptase worked as a gardener for the human zoo. She was assigned to this job because of her ability to control and speak to plants. She had been tending to the plants for a while and never heard about pink diamonds death because she was so caught up in her work. Later she was sent to Earth to gather Earth’s plants, but her ship stopped working in the atmosphere and she is now stranded in Earth’s rainforest.

Extra: Once Dioptase accidentally poofed her friend while showing off her yo-yo!
