One of my favorite scenes from I Have Nothing I Can Give by MirandaTam (@mandaloriandy ) on AO3. It’s a part of the Jedi Shmi AU, one which I highly, highly recommend!! In this scene Shmi realizes the reality of how Krell truly views the clones, and she’s extremely not into it. Go check out the rest of the fanfic! It’s amazing!

holy shit this is AMAZING - I love the way you've drawn Shmi, her face, her stress lines, the icicles on those absolutely FRIGID speech bubbles - and the turn and zoom in on her face where you can see how furious she is. and SLICK AND RANO, the signing at each other conveys that sense of movement so well, and their armor is so amazingly detailed - and Rano with his paint on, the slight tilt of the helmets as they're talking to each other, augh it's so amazing. Krell's face, the close-up from the side and how it's contrasted with Shmi's, facing in the other direction - how they're both looking forwards but he's taking over his whole frame whereas Shmi is framed by the ship's background in hers. And I can't imagine how tricky it must be to draw a besalisk and figure out where all the arms and everything go - and you've managed it amazingly.

I'm so honored that you've been so inspired by my work to make this absolutely fantastic rendition of it - is it OK if I link to this in the notes of that chapter on AO3? This deserves to be shown off.

Hey guys, my good friend reached out to me about a GoFundMe he recently set up for a friend in Uganda. There was a huge landslide in a landfill near the capitol that killed a lot of people in his community, and he may have lost a friend in it (they are still identifying victims). He has been taking care of about 25 kids who have lost their parents and homes (before the landslide) for about 3 years now and needs help getting basics like food and toiletries for all of them.

In the seventh panel, we see the profile of her face as she turns her head just enough so that she can be heard. We cannot see her eyes, only the sunglasses. She says, "I'll make it legal."

In the eighth panel we see a highly-stylized, almost chibi-esque version of Palpatine. He is visibly gulping in fear and the word "gulp" appears behind him in large, capital letters. He is sweating.
